  1. Why do you believe this is the case? I can't see any evidence whatsoever that the Saudis are still at the table. Ashley is pursuing a restraint of trade case against the Premier League, and arbitration is a precursor he has to indulge before going to court. None of this either requires or suggests the involvement of the Saudis. Genuine question. Why should we believe anything you say over what local journalists are saying. Genuinely, if you have information that proves your line of thinking, i'd like to hear it.
  2. Yes, that has been their main bone of contention. That and that we are all stupid and worthless cunts for daring to want and dream of a better NUFC.
  3. Football Law genuis who wins most things v Football Club who lose most things One of them is going to have to end their run
  4. Massive David Batty fan here too
  5. Isn't he just repeating what that Ben Jacobs (someone who does have an actual source) said. He's the Telegraph's version of NUFC360
  6. Where has it been confirmed that the Staveley/Saudi consortium are currently party to a legal dispute with the Premier League? Personally, I'm sick to the back teeth of hearing so much about Redbird Capital.
  7. I assume that they must have known what was coming then because if they are going to respond at 17.00, that seems really quick seeing as though the PL only responded 'today'.
  8. I think the answer to that is no. We as individuals just have to decide whether the things we hear on here, and the fact that Ashley has employed a QC to fight his battle, say different.
  9. Almiron has the mark of Rafa on him. Bruce was never going to like him.
  10. I don’t think that’s true, he’s a willing seller now and yeah we have or had a suitable buyer. There will be others. The difference before was that he didn’t really want to sell and the people attempting to buy had alternative agendas buy being public about it. I think that nobody else is coming to the table right now is due to not having the clout to compete with PIF, which also could mean they are still very much looking to invest. I'd love you to be right but I think Ashley's asking price is the problem with regards to alternative buyers. I'm not convinced there's anyone out there that would be prepared to pay it. Hopefully, we'll not be in a position to find out.
  11. Not that old really either RIP
