When is the replay ?
-
I wouldn't trust Allardyce with millions to spend
-
I wouldn't say he's back to his best yet, but is getting stronger and better each game.
-
What were they singing? " Your worse than Watford " i think
-
Smith and Butt in CM is just a big no no
-
Wonder how much he'd cost? On loan would be nice instead of stumping over something near £10m which Wenger will want. Although after seeing the furore caused by us loaning Rossi last year, maybe not... They would never demand £10 million for Bendtner. Around £6 million or £7 million at the most.

Fulham 1-2 Bristol Rovers blueyes.gif

It's hard for referees now, wasn't two footed but was still quite dangerous.
-
What a chance for Eduardo...puts it wide.
-
Then we'd need to players then if we're getting rid of Emre and Barton
-
7m....get real
-

Given Carr Beye Faye Taylor Milner Butt Emre Charlie Smith Viduka Everyone may laugh at my defence, and i had a little chuckle too. But i think with the style Stoke will play tommorow,i think it's physical enough, and able to cope with their long ball. I'd love to play Enrique, but would honestly think he'd struggle against a team that will get stuck into us, that's why Taylor is left back.Good in the air and OK going foward. Same with Owen, would get battered and wouldn't get a sniff. A gritty team to grind out a gritty performance. Won't be good to watch, but is able to get a result. It's my opinion, and i know everyone will disagree, but i'd take that team tommorow. -
It is also subect to Police agreement, which is the big catch. Thought so

When i was watching the Villa-Man Utd game, John Motson said that in the fa cup no matter what, the away teams are entitled to 15% of tickets. So if we got Man Utd away we'd be entitled to 11,400 tickets :parky: Not that i'd want us to get Man Utd away, it's just an example But i wonder if we got Sunderland away, whether we'd get 7,200 tickets is another story. Same with us, nearly 8,000 tickets teams would be entitled to at SJP. Bit off subject, but i just thaught i'd mention it

Skint Luton beg Liverpool for Cup cash to help rescue the club . . but Kop say NO By Darren Lewis 05/01/2008 Liverpool last night shattered the magic of the FA Cup by refusing to donate their share of tomorrow's FA Cup third round gate receipts to penniless Luton Town. Bankrupt Luton, who play the six-time FA Cup winners in a David v Goliath clash, face extinction if they do not find a suitable buyer by Monday at 5pm. The Bedfordshire club, docked 10 points for going into administration in November, swallowed their pride to go begging to Liverpool. But even though the Reds' share of the ticket sales would have amounted to around the £100,000-a-week earned by star striker Fernando Torres, Anfield chiefs rejected the move. Luton boss Kevin Blackwell confirmed: "It has been asked by the administrator." He then put a brave face on the snub by joking: "They probably said: 'We have to pay players £100,000 a week. You must be joking! Otherwise we will be like you!' You just have to accept it. There are people in life who have got a Rolls Royce while some people have a Mini. We are Mini drivers. We tried to live like a Rolls Royce but that's why we are where we are." Luton have been unable to pay their players for the past nine weeks and the cash from tomorrow's game at Kenilworth Road has already been earmarked to help clear their debts. The League One club are losing a whopping £400,000 per month as they battle to keep themselves afloat and this match offers some respite. They will receive £150,000 for being on TV and their share of gate receipts will add up to £100,000. Chairman Bill Tomlins had agreed to fund the losses of the club out of his own pocket but that deal expired at the end of the year. Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich made a donation to Scarborough when the two teams met in the FA Cup fourth round in 2004. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/2008/01/05/luton-beg-kop-for-cash-89520-20275347/ Do you think it was right for Liverpool to refuse ?
