So i take it they will start training at Benton next week sometime then ?
-
Not sure wheather anyone has posted this, but i was reading in the Daily Mirror just now that Blackburn are set to sign him for £450k. He has also hinted that he would like to link up with Rovers as he says that it would benfit his career by getting first team football in the Premier League.
-
Completely agree. If this was roeder he would have been offering 5m or not even realising he was available on a free.Big Sams doing a great job so far.Give him plenty time though !
-
No more than 5m i'd pay for him. Good quality defender, but can't see Everton selling him.
-
Baines Bridge or Shorey - a must.

Lets just put this as simple as possible: Milner is class,Dyer is shite. Milner can cross the ball,Dyer can't. Milner can kick the ball harder with his left foot than Dyer can with his right. Milner could cross the ball better with his eyes closed left footed than Dyer could with his right open. Milner is a right winger,Dyer isn't. Milner is on less wages than Dyer, about 3 times less. Ayone get my point ? Flog Dyer,he's a useless money grabbing lazy t*** if you ask me. Get milner here on a long term contract. His crossing can be tremendous. He often delievers a bad cross, but for how hard he works in a game, he has a good right to. Go Jimmy Milner

Hes on 40k a week

Good. I think luque deserves his chance and would do well once given this. I am one of the few that actually rate him.
-
I'd say the new shirt looks rather tidy Much better than this shabby new home top we currently have.
-
That Barca shirt is awful!
-
With Owen Oba Viduka Shola and also Luque being set for another chance, i just dont think why we would need another strikler with young Andy Caroll coming through aswell. Yesterday i was quite shocked with us being in an agreement or whatever it was with Alan Smith. So with 4/5 top strikers i can imagine 2/3 of them being frustrated with not being in the team/squad. I know Spurs have made it work with Berbatov Defoe Keane and Mido but you always have Deofe or Keane crying that they arn't playing enough games. But if we considered Smith in Centre midfield it could also cause a few problems. With him Barton Butt and Emre,Charlie also could see them wanting to be away. But with so many injuries we normally have,it's probably our safest bet in midfield.

Martins is probably the fastest bloke in Nigeria so i dont think they would have caught him. But from point blank range......he's a lucky man,and so are we. It could benefit us tbh. Might want to settle up here where he knows he's safe. Hope his mates alright though

Tbh i think we will just spend as normally until MA gets to know the club and once we are establishing ourselves back in the top half i think then is when he will decide to put some money into the club.
-
He seems quite hot property though.Quite a bit of money being asked ?
