Do they not realise dream matches are only dream matches because they rarely happen? If they happen multiple times a week the effect will totally diminish. It's already like that.

In fairness, that probably is what they should do if they are serious about it. But if any of them fold they'll come down like a pack of cards. Just got to keep the pressure up until someone breaks.

Definitely, many of the clubs have faded glory, legacy costs and will be tanking cash. Teams simply have to play and compete within their means. It'd be much better for competition. Financial fair play should really be ensuring this.

Even just reading that made me bored by it, as if VAR provides some sort of incredible, gripping excitement we can't live without. Football is great because it's human. We managed fine before, and it was fun. Ripping the spontaneity away is not conducive to getting youngsters invested.

It's precisely the endless pissing about with the game that is turning young people off. I hate VAR, I hate how all the players get daft cash, I hate all the owners turning them into businesses, I hate the politics, rule changes and FIFA corruption. We need rid of the old, out of touch mafia who have been persistently attempting to ruin our game to line their pockets, while wasting supporter's hard earned cash.

The whole of football is full of grim, mercenary, greedy, rancid, hypocritical pests. They can all go fuck themselves, one day the game will return to the people.

Most of the teams involved aren't even in the top positions of their respective leagues, or have been crap for ages. AC Milan ffs their last 7 season finishes are 6th, 5th, 6th, 6th, 7th, 10th, 8th. Arsenal are a shell of their former self, Tottenham are still really a mid-table team. This is no super league. Owners and sponsors have become too powerful. Power needs to be taken back by the fans. Over and over, decisions have been made that negatively affect the game and enough is enough. These teams think they have a right to receive a certain level of oncome without earning it, they can fuck off.
