I think the reason he gets defended by some of us is we can see he has real quality and he's just a young lad. It's totally different to lambasting players like Raylor or Ameobi who are meant to be established professionals.

Can never fault his effort, like. Just lacks that bit of quality we need. However, he's been helping Santon a lot in defence which I appreciate. They may as well swap positions actually

I could only watch the first half but there was a lot of knee-jerking. He had some decent moments but it was always going to be hard against walcott, especially on your weaker side. Can't speak for the 2nd half though.
