Cannot remember a productive ball from them tbh into the danger zone and gutierrez made one good ball and f*** all else apart from his headless chicken routine . I dunno man. I can't help but appreciate Jonas's efforts tonight. Was very positive compared to the rest of the dross. But yes, Guthrie and Nolan, probably the worst CM pair performance I've seen. I've always hated Guthrie and he seen quite a bit of the ball at the start but after that it was embarrassing. He definitely wasn't bad. Had a lot of the ball, was happy to take the ball and made plenty of positive runs. He was definitely not at fault tonight.

imo changing captaincy will cause more problems than solve. If the dressing room respect Nolan then I wouldn't change it. He should apologise, however.

Modric seems to contribute more from a deeper position now though, controlling the game from the centre, spreading the ball about and pretty much dictating how Spurs play from what I've seen. He's their best player if you ask me. I totally agree. Just found it surprising.
