He's neat and tidy, has a cracking delivery on him, and always looks to go forward. I like that. His problem is that he isn't strong enough, or fast enough. It's his delivery that puts him in the good player pile for me, but he needs to improve. I hope he does, because we'd have a very good player on our hands. He's an incredibly average player at the moment. He has some decent attributes but he really struggles to affect games at all.

I'm surprised you're surprised tbh. He's awful in that role, just has a habit of being in the 'right place' at, yes, the right time. He contributes so little to the play that it kills some of my brain cells.

City have spacked an awful lot of money but they haven't really bought that many world class players. Now they have a squad of 25 players of near equal quality. In DM for example. De Jong, Kompany, Barry, Viera are all of a similarish quality but none of them worldbeaters. Unfortunately Touré destroys my point but it's the same in other positions. Defenders, none of them are particularly great. They are mostly top 6, yes, but not top 4.

I read that in a similar tone to "stop getting Bond wrong" and "don't rub your fanny on me". That was what was in my head Great minds etc etc.
