he was a good young player for them, we just f***ed him up like we have done to soo many young players i.e. viana Sorry but you're talking bollocks. One season (Xisco) at Newcastle doesn't permanently turn a good player into a bad one. As for Viana, he was over hyped. If he was any good he'd have done well somewhere after leaving us. He hasn't. Yeah, is Viana still getting loaned out to random portuguese teams?

looks like the beeb are focussing on Cardiff vs Sheff Wed tonight I'm afraid. Aye, usually if we are playing at 3 it's unlikely we'll be shown anywhere. Premiership matches take priority unfortunately. -
prince boateing for me.

Would be nice to see some englishmen moving abroad. Not too many, mind. By the way, I've heard Matt Derbyshire has been doing well in Greece. Not been mentioned in the England frame at all? Not that I think he should be, just every english player gets touted as a 'possible' now.

A boy I tutor is friends with 2 of the midfielders in the Scotland squad. Be interesting to hear how they did.

my sister in law drove around in her car for 5 years before finally taking a test and passing. You say that as if it wasn't horrifyingly illegal. What if she crashed? Stupid bint. Tell her I said that.

You could have put those ellipses before all four names and it would still be funny.

This. And he has the incredible agility and quick feet that Aaron Lennon and SWP have. Pretty sure he could take on most of the bottom half EPL teams fullbacks successfully. Wasn't he pretty good at Fulham when he went there on loan a couple of seasons back? -
Those points at the end. Fair enough, they are right, but everyone who writes about us says the exact same thing. If you don't have anything new to say then don't bloody say it.

You know, I think they are certainly of a better quality than we are used to but I don't think any of them are good enough at the moment. They are all lacking in something and they really suffer from not playing in good teams. Fletcher was picked up at an early age and was allowed to develop at a much higher level. If Fletcher was left in Scotland he would be nowhere near as good imo. McCarthy has been picked up early aswell but the bugger has opted to play for Ireland! Still, he has a bright future I think. It's quite weird though, how there are so relatively few Scottish players that ever make it. It is just as big, if not bigger, a sport as it is in England. Another point, it seems that Scottish players hit a brick wall. Look at Stephen McManus. He was a beast a few years ago and I really tipped him to be very successful. He's still young but he just seems to have stopped developing completely and even went downhill. Same with Snod (so far), O'Connor, Naismith et al. Burke and Adam were great at Rangers but, to me, they have reached their level already. All in all, our league is shite -> players playing in shite league with shite coaching -> players don't get any better -> team full of shite players -> shite league and so on. Can't think of one player playing in Scotland who I can guarantee will be a top player.

James McArthur from Hamilton Accies is a good player. Only 22 and is considered (here anyway) to have been a better player than James McCarthy when he was there.

This is a more likely target. Although will MA & Del fancy dealing Bates after the Beckoford farce. Ha, good question. Sorry, I didn't really explain myself. Got to see him play alot in Scotland and he had something a bit more special than the usual dross in the Scottish leagues. Hasn't developed as fast as I thought but might be worth a punt, he's pretty versatile (correct me if I'm wrong) and he wouldn't be too pricey, especially if Leeds don't go up. Otherwise, raid the relegated teams. Kevin Prince Boateng, Kevin Doyle, Steven Fletcher (very impressed by him this season) are pretty realistic. Steven Whittaker isn't a bad right back if we are struggling, probably not realistic however.

As the commentary said 'it's not their fault he has cramp'. Tbh I'd be raging if we kicked it out when a player in the other team had cramp, nevermind when we are losing!

Probably be a 1 good game in 3 kind of player. Hopefully him, Jonas and Nolan can take turns next season then. -
Was thinking that. It was obvious he had been planning to say that for half the game
