  1. should have said he came on and didn't start. However he was immediately ripped to shreds. He did actually have a decent run at Santon at one point.
  2. hahahahaah aye thats him! Our lot started singing "fatty, give us a wave, fatty fatty give us a wave" at one point and to be fair to him he did wave.
  3. just seems that if we're looking to send them to League One, it would be better than going all the way to MK Dons and the like. Bit gutted for the lad Holden who lives in my street as well. Kind of at fault for Vuckic's goal. His sister is pleased as punch for him on facebook like.
  4. forgot to add that the PA bloke thanked Alan Pardew for sending a strong team out and wished us luck for the forthcoming season at the full-time whistle. Seemed rather pally and in good spirits. Would seem theres a link between the two clubs. If we've got anyone we're prepared to send out on loan it would be worth letting them have first dibs.
  5. aye, got forward loads. Encouraged to shoot quite a bit too but seemed reluctant. Had one pulled back to him by Obertan second half which probably would have went in but was blocked.
  6. Tav and Simpson pretty much played as wing-backs with Bigi and Perch just sitting deep, letting the two centre halves go out wide if need be and for Gosling to push forward just behind Shola. Marv was something else early in the first half like.
  7. lined up Harper Simpson Williamson Taylor Tav Bigi Perch Marveaux Gosling Amalfitano Shola
  8. should have scored. Seemingly decided to stop and piss about when he had the opportunity of a 2-yard tap in. Aside from that, okay but not amazing. Could tell he hasn't played for a while. Went on one canny run and it looked like Hartlepool were prepared to kick lumps out of him to stop him. Seemed to stop after that.
  9. aye, there were definitely potential knackers there, but they just about behaved themselves. Some f***ing tramps anarl. Had two blokes stood in front of us, about 50-odd, sweaty looking hair, fat as f***, jogging bottoms on. They f***ing stank. Luckily they moved. Oh, and for whoever it is on here that constantly asks what numbers each new player wears, Good wore 33.
  10. got back about half an hour ago. Canny little evening out that. Amalfitano, Tav & Bigi were impressive. Gosling was a bit frustrating, holds on to the ball too much. Shola's injury is a bit of a kick in the knackers. He was in the centre circle holding on to it, almost waiting to draw the foul, which he did, then got injured. Had he not fannyed on and just knocked it wide I doubt it would have happened. Didn't see any bother, was in good spirits. Didn't realise there were two separate entrances for the terraced bit down the front and the seated area. Ended up in the seats but had to move to the back of the stand 'cos loads of people decided to sit and I wanted to stand. People who watch Hartlepool canny often - who is the oldish looking fat bloke? Plays on the right? He got some stick from our fans like.
  11. Best two chants so far have been “he shags who he wants, Alan Pardew he shags who he wants” and the whole stand turning to David Craig and shouting “David Craig is a wanker, is a wanker”. HBA is coming on. He could tear this lot a new one.
  12. a lass I went to school with that lives about 5 doors down from's kid brother recently signed full professional terms with Hartlepool. Already made his first team debut. Will be keen to see if he plays tonight. http://www.hartlepoolunited.co.uk/team/player-profile/index.aspx?playerid=465940&tcmuri=25450
  13. When we went to Hartlepool/Wigan a few years ago we parked at the big Asda, not far from the stadium. Cheers. Will probably do that then.
  14. decided to go down tomorrow. Not arsed about drinking and want to distance myself from the possibility of little cunts acting like dicks on a train so just taking the car. For those that know/go to Hartlepool, where is best to park?
  15. can't get any better than this http://stagecoach.mybesthost.com/csstsept09.shtml
  16. stupid question but on a matchday could they not use the advertising hoardings to display the team lineups?
  17. possibly. On the site they're still offering the option of having a massive club crest printed on the back for the clowns out there.
  18. already got me ticket. If I rocked up to SJP about 4.15 today will there be a farcical problem getting in? Keep getting emails about the "plenty of time"/2 hours thing but am I fuck sitting there from 3 onwards. The Town Wall needs my business.
  19. presumably. It looks cheap.
  20. http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/2794/screenshot20120804at100.png http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/2794/screenshot20120804at100.png
  21. basically we need to put a sniper on Seydoux and we're areet then?
  22. Jose: you can do that and be in a top five team? Where the fuck did I go wrong?
  23. "We urge all fans to make a small contribution towards the increased €2m. As a reward we will send you a free titanic Sports Direct mug, which doesn't fit through your letterbox, so you will have to collect when you're at work."
  24. going to sign a 6 month loan deal with Fleetwood apparently. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19118854
