  1. this. strong enough squad to stay in top 8 also in "bad" seasons.
  2. Agree, with this. Some f***ing lunatics as you mentioned was way off, but they are gone. But again, i have no clue who is Norwegian here based on user name, other than the "well known" guys. And Kaiz, Norwegian football is better than most Norwegian say? gimme a break man. I have watch that s*** regularly, its not good. Even had a season ticket for some years, until i just could not take it anymore Some good players come from time to time, but that is it. (Then being sold to a obscure league after a good season.) Good for a country with 4.5 mill people. s*** compared to most other leagues. That is my honest opinion, but does that make me fall into your stereotype? Infinitely better than ours and we are 9m over here. Travesty of a league, ours. do we, dk, really have the best league between us...thats sad.
  3. i know but the same was said about remy 2 days before he left.

    Alan Pardew

A player or 2. oh dear. Really has to be a quality CB and striker/LW. imaging if cisse got injured.
  5. Who is the most realistic - if any at all? 1. Okore 2. Haidara 3. De Jong 4. Sissoko 5. Gomis 6. someone linked i forgot? maybe haidara
  6. lucas andersen & Victor fischer (both Ajax)
  7. always like him even though he hasn´t lived up to the earlier hype. Wenger probably wants him?
  8. i refuse to believe this Add own caprion http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/8776/headinthesand.gif lol. honestly, i think they work very hard at the moment. Unfortuneately their business and transfer methods/strategy isn´t working.
  9. Can someone explain to me why so many of them are so rubbish? This place has given me a slight hatred of Norway in particular. Apologies to the good ones that we do have, but some of your compatriots are absolute divvies. They're s*** because their general knowledge of football is s***. Most just choose an English team 'cause it's expected of them and take a miniscule interest in the sport except when something good or bad happens, either club-wise or Internationally, then they go on about it like they've always paid attention yet what they're saying is absolute horseshit. Their favourite thing to do is also to talk down any Scandinavian country, league and/or players because it's/they're so much shitter than anyone/thing else. Again displaying their total lack of knowledge since the leagues aren't too bad, and neither are the national teams. I see it all the time, and it's not even just the glory hunters. People can go "I support Southampton/Leeds/Blackburn" and not be able to name any player on the team. They just "have" a team because that's what they do. c***s. In short, they suck because they have no knowledge of football in general and just want to be a part of something so they can argue with their mates (who also know nothing). I hate the Scandinavian football fan almost more than Asian glory hunters. At least the Asians tend to be interested in the teams they follow that week. Gives the people who actually care a bad name and brings everybody down with them. f*** the world. (Obviously there's exceptions though. But still.) I'm editing the biggest Swedish fan site (that has a forum attached). I want to be part of and create an interesting community for Newcastle supporters in Sweden, even though it's difficult and proving frustrating more than often. People post every rumour everywhere, want to buy Swedish players for the sake of it and post FM-like formations ahead of every game. The main problem is the acceptance of every news source and the fact that our coverage (both TV and other forums) is filled with attention seeking idiots who know nothing about football in general, Newcastle in particular. Once these people become a point of reference, the general Swedish fan becomes worse than some of the worst posters on here. Rich: what in particular drives your hatred towards us? I think there is a far bigger proportion of local fans who contribute with nothing but rubbish. have i done anything wrong?
  10. i believe and understand colo and wife have problems....but this is bizarre. I mean he is still worth a lot in transfer fee....maybe 5 mill? How can we just ignore that. San Lorenzo must come up with something else. Im not sure i like the way they handle this. I know he wants to go and have feelings for the club...but should we just give him away for free? We paid quiet a lot for him. Dont know how to solve this?
  11. Wasn't really relevant. He's already been got several times over, man. The internet is an unforgiving place
  12. killing time until fergie retires....hope not!
  13. If it's disappearing, it will only be to reduce the debt to Ashley. Just on the earlier subject of luck btw, where we definitely got very lucky last season was that Chelsea and Liverpool had unbelievably bad seasons by their own standards. Chelsea were always going to spend stupid money and go through managers for fun in order to rectify that, but we still had that over them for one summer. More importantly we had a golden chance to show that we had just as much promise and ambition as Liverpool and Everton to compete with Spurs and Arsenal and yet all of those clubs are already out of sight. the last two lines: that is what haunts me the most. We were so close. 2-3 quality signings in the summer and this season would have been very different. There wouldn´t have been any panic now and we would probably be up there again! Feels like we have to start all over even though only Ba has left (and soon colo i guess). Our key players will leave if serious ambitions aren´t shown from now on....not in the summer NOW!!
  14. A front 3 of N'Gog - Cisse - Obertan Thats funny...in a bizarre way
  15. Howay man. its a difficult situation. he is our captain, he is still worth a lot of money, they dont have any, we are in a tight spot and cant let him go before really good replacement is in.
  16. wow. though he was coming here (to england). imaging him here

hope they fail in every way
  18. i would prefer another type coz i want us to play 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. same same. point is he cant play next to cisse imo. If he comes in as back up for cisse and we get a LW/attacker with pace and goalscoring record then fine. have not seem him for some time though. think we really need to consider if we should be signing the types of player we all want or the types of player that pardew can work with i have a suspicion that signing the former will be our death note if we do as you suggest we will not develop and key players will leave in the summer! 100% sure of that! we're not developing anyway, i think we'll lose more key players when we're relegated after trying to get technically proficient dwarves to play like the wimbledon FA cup winning team know what you're saying but the football was awful, awful at times last season and players were happy 'cause they were winning well maybe the first step in the right direction would be to let pardew go oh well yeah but that's looking like the least likely of all the options at the moment isn't it, i was approaching it from the assumption that they'll never sack him, which i really believe im all with you. But actually it should be the first step. But probably not this moment in time.

  21. awful times. i dont like this window at all. We are really paying now for not doing our business in the summer. Key players like cabaye and arfa seems to think we are lacking ambition and will leave in the summer if nothing changes this window and the next....cant blame them. Also when thinking of the childish/retarded/negative tactics and style pardew is using. they might find it hard to perform their best when the ball is hoofed over their heads....when they should dictate the games. Also colo is asking to leave + rumours about santon & krul to AC Milan....rumours i know but unsettling....a huge club will be interesting for our players who might cant see us improving like they hoped. Positive thing is it seems like pardew know its now or never and i think key players like cabaye and arfa is starting to demand improvement (good thing)....but it might be too late to save, keep and evolve what we started last season. Interesting and nerve wrecking weeks to come
