I'd say Taylor is equally inadequate on either side. i made the change coz i see colo as much better in the left. shoots better than taylor with the left leg and can take the ball forward from the position. imo

At the same time though we still have to reduce our wages as their still high aren't they? (and/or reduce the 'dead wood' aka. Smith etc) Which is probablies why we haven't spent much into the £35mil yet, but even if we don't, we must improve our squad at all costs. Its common knowledge that the £35m has to go towards wages too but still we have a net spend of about £500k so far this window, if Perch, Best and Smith do go there's three wages free'd up. There will be hell if come the close of the window MA has not reinvested most of the £35m. we have already saved some wages on the departure of sol and kuqi.

for 8-10 mill i would like to see bendtner here...being a dane must be the main reason....but i think he would be good for us. i believe he could do the job scoring 10-20 goals pr. season. he knows he has talked too much so far....he must know its time to let the boosts do the talking. he has to go to a team where he can get first team football in order to develop...problem is he wants CL football. i truly believe he could be great.

That seems a decent deal. Is Nolan being too greedy? no. he could easily end up like smith. we also have løvenkrands which im sure pardew wouldn´t mind left. I think a 3 year from the club is more than fair! i think he's looking our for his family as much as wanting first team football, caulkin mentioned him wanting security in terms of sending the kids to school and staying settled in an area. if this is the case it would make sense that he's pushed for a new contract now. if that were all true does anyone think the club are in the wrong now ?

Since when? He's the same as Charlie Adam in my opinion and look at the prices he is supposedly going for. For someone who is our top scorer, our captain and our first choice central midflieder I'd rather have closer to 8m sorry but i do not rate nolan so much and i cant see how we could get more for him. He was our leader but didn´t want to sign a new contract + in my world he is far from good enough to start in the only position he can play which is behind the striker. Should we have kept him without him signing a new contract, taking the captaincy from him and placed him on the bench....not sure that would be good for morale or the squad spirit. Well i dont have the answer but i think we all ready have a good replacement in cabaye and im sure more will follow. I believe we will see a much improved midfield this season...im more worried about our attack!

we signed mehdi...what do you mean Dave....that he will not be around the first team? im a bit confused Anyway. So far the transfer window have been ok. We have release campell and Kuqi which is common sense. if Nolan is going for 4 mill. i think its good business. For me he will not be first choice....and doesn´t seem to fit into any formations....behind the striker is his position and im sure Ben arfa can do that better or someone else. Im sure pardew / ashley are trying to build a squad which will be able to compete for europe...so nolan will be replaced. My only concern is that our primary targets are out of reach and we will have to go for players like barnetta (dont know too much about him tbf). But once we are in europe and hopefully have stability (if we ever had it) everything will come easier to us! i think i like that we dont blow our finances on very expensive players on high wages....think our common structure can contribute to a more homogenous squad as we have had the last two seasons.
