up to 15 mill for bendtner would be ok. he is a bit of a character but im sure he could flourish here.....he has his best years ahead of him and will only get better! im sure he will be good for 10 goals + even in a average season! im afraid many teams (bigger than ours) value him as well. But he might wanna stay in England because of is child if he and the Baronesse spilt up as rumoured?

Agreed 100% When the hell is Andy Carroll going to be worth more than £35m? Even if he realises his potential I assume by then there would be some kind of financial regulations in place within football to stop enormous fees in the future. So long as the money is invested in the TEAM in the summer, Ashley did a very good bit of business with the Carroll sale. agree. especially when caroll asked nufc to match the wages liverpool was offering him! atm i like the wage-structure we have....its the only way to progress and it will more or less only attract players who really want to play for us!

we will never know....move on! it happened (sadly), but think about it....if we buy 2 quality strikers, a defending midfielder to challenge tiote and a better (more attacking RB) i think we will challenge spurs for 5th position. hopefully ireland will start producing again and sign for us in the summer. cover for LB and we are rocking! should be possible for the caroll money!

5 man midfield with shola on top! sad to see caroll leave...but we have money and time to sort out our attack in the summer. I believe we have a team who still will get points this season. Sort out attack....buy two good strikers and 1 or 2 in other positions in the summer a we will be even better! Its not all bad....money isn´t everything but 35mill is a lot of money. not defending ashley...but im in a way glad we are not paying silly wages....maybe if the economy has improved in 2 years time mabye then we can start paying higher wages to attract the exciting players we all would like to see in the black and white jersey?

problem is we will have to pay stupid money for new proven striker at this point before the window close. We will have to pay overprice and probably silly wages! dont know what to think of this?.....its a lot of money! If we sold caroll and spend some of the money right it could improve us....not in this window though!
