well...probably can´t complain too much about citeh winning. BUT i can´t help thinking we were very unlucky. we gave away 3 goals...we were not outplayed....three individual errors...and that cost! first half we were in almost full control....good gameplan! Cabaye should be rested to start with i think. cant risk to miss both him and tiote for the stoke match.

thats probably why we didnt go players lke bendtner which makes sense. Ba-Best-Ameobi are all big and strong. A smaller and faster to take the deep runs at defenses would be good for us? Løvenkrands? What? seems like pardew was very keen on erdinc (not sure of spelling) and he seems (from what i know) like a player similar bellamy and by that i mean smaller and faster type who can make the runs around the big strikers like Ameobi, Ba & Best. only mentioned løvenkrands as a joke since he is the striker in our squad who comes closest to that.

Crap post A lot of people (fans) have a tight economy at this time. Not many thought we would be 4th after 8-9 games into the season. Now when things are on the up im sure more will come to our (home)games. I agree big signings can course a higher attendance...but only if the team keeps winning. But lets say we had bought 2 superstars in the summer...maybe that would have sold some more tickets....but it would also have ruined the current strategy (transfers and squad) which i think is a good strategy for these though years. I still think we have "big" names in our squad....as big as we can get them atm....and i prefer so much more to see the spirit these lads have then a team build around highearnes like Owen or kluivert for example.

Perch, Smith and Ranger excepted of course. We've already shown we can compete for seventh position IMO, January should be about trying to ensure it rather than gambling (again) on doing so without one or more of our best players. and løvenkrands. actually these 4 players are the only ones who really needs to leave. very promising!

We only see half the picture though and let's not forget they wouldn't sell. If it was last year and we couldn't get Tiote over the line and Carr said, he's the one, keep plodding away. Could be the same with this lad. Not everything that doesn't come off is our fault. All seems very pro active to me. Shouldn't have said we'd buy a striker this Summer then. Don't make promises you can't keep. calm down and relax. Im sure they tried to sign one....but it didn´t work out! they refused to panic and pay overprice....you will get your striker in january....if he is available for the right price. I also felt sad when we didn´t get one this window....but hey....its not like we are really missing him atm! Get arfa 100% fit and we will only play one striker anyway!

well...sounds like they are getting things right. Its maybe the only way forward for the club. Maybe i wouldn´t be so happy if the team didn´t perform the way they do atm...but its really exciting atm. I do care how we do business as a club...it makes me much prouder to support newcastle when we are doing it this way instead of the crazy spending under sheppard or for example the way Man. City does it. Strong team spirit and relatively unknown players is far more exciting the Old superstars like owen. If mike manage to build a healthy club then i wouldnt mind worldclass players here of course. can´t disagree with anything in the statement...but its also a good time to give the statement when things are on the up.

R. Taylor have done a decent job as LB....but its about time we put santon in there....if taylor cant be dropped then let him play RB with simpson on the bench. think playing santon on the left and raylor on the right will give us so much more attacking. Raylors crosses will be a huge upgrade on simpsons. Not sure about obertan....should he start ahead of marveaux??? I think i will start the match with best / Ba on top....see if it works out and then put arfa on if needed. keep shola hungry on the bench
