When there is nothing to play for... Im afraid he was a waste of money! Whether it could turn out as positive will be seen. Maybe this means that Villa will let him go for less money since the situation hasn´t changed. dont think its a serious injury....for the right money i think we should try and sign him in the summer.

Take it easy, Ronaldo. No one here is saying Peter is good enough for a starting place here or even being 3 choice. But fact is he is here and that he more or less delivers ok against average teams. has scored 5 goals and made some assists. He is acting quiet professional and his work rate is ok during matches. He seems to get in position a get chances which is important! We (you) should stop being so negative and accept he has done better than we actually though he would after Caroll left. He will probably not play a part next year and he knows it... so just be happy when delivers like yesterday

30 mill is silly. 12 would alright....you don´t get much proven striker for less...

we need an attacking approach for the match against wolves ....2 strikers is a msut and i think its about time to give Nile a chance from the start! If he is up for it he can cause a lot of trouble with his aggression.

my post was a comment on people on here who consider løvenkrands as the worst! if i have to name the worst player i believe that wages, transfer fee and what role the player is considered to play as important factors for the judgement! Im not trying to defend Løvenkrands....i spoke bad of him when we signed him....but must amid he did a good job last year in the Championship! Smith, Luque maybe Xisco, Boumsong etc were all quiet expensive players on "high wages" who didn´t do the job they were paid to do! Even last year in the Championship Smith was a liability.....he has to be the worst ever (at least i can´t think of others right now)! At least we knew that Luque could play good football....something just went horrible wrong....smith have had every opportunity to deliver and have failed everytime! Name me a match were Smith were among the best on the pitch, can´t think of any

To even consider Løvenkrands as the worst is just hilarious! People of that opinion don´t know anything about football! We paid nothing for him...probably on small wages + he has scored about 15 goals or so for us! Dont know how far back we are talking but it should be easy to name the first 10-20 players who have been worse!

I hope the target is to be the best of all the average teams....im mean we shoud aim for the 6th or maybe 5th spot! Challenge Liverpool and Tottenham coz that is not that unrealistic already next season....top 4 is nothing we should think about, yet!

well someone has to make the decision...if not Pardew who then? im aware he doesn´t have free hands...but you can´t have 2-3-4-5-6 different persons putting a team together (not saying it isn´t the case)!

I think he will stay...at least next season as well! remember he was headhunted for the job...and im sure Ashleys plans are well pointed out for Pardew! Im sure there will be 35 mill cool cash for transfers in the summer! remember all the Caroll money came from out of nowhere so i dont think ashley will have any problem spending them...not sure he will chip more in though? Second half of this season have also shown that we need (quality) players both in order to progress or stay up! The thing about Barton and Enrique waiting to sign new contracts have also shown ashley that he can´t ignore the demands form both players and supporters. Its would be no less than disasterous if both Barton and Enrique left....it would send the wrong message. that would mean we couldn´t attract anyone better than what we got already + it would be a relegation battle for day one....which we easily could end up loosing! that say im convinced the club will try to match barton and enriques demands....if they leave it will be because of bigger clubs going for them for good money....that we can´t do anything about coz they could be unsettled if rejected a move! So its all up to Alan himself (and the players of course) whether he stays or not....we could start the next season losing 10 games which means Ashley will have to react! I know im about to jinx everything but i just hope this season will finish with us in top 10 or so and then im very much looking forward to a new season with a lot of new exciting players! Only problem is that i don´t really trust Pardew in the transfer market!

Teams have done well with 3 at the back against Stoke this season, extra height for defending setpieces. well xtra height for defending set pieces doesn´t really have anything to do with playing 3 at the back, does it?

to play 3 defenders at the back is just a freakin joke! we need to have 4 defenders and stick with that....its the only way forward...no matter who is available! It wont help us in the long run to shuffle the tactics so much especially not at the back!
