wouldn´t mind us being the new arsenal or ajax. like the concept of playing the same system / formation through out the ranks( don´t know if we all ready do, but it would surprice me if we did, considered all the different managers we had). Then we can buy young players like wenger and they (youth players) will all know their role and position and be confident when they are promoted to the first team. nothing better then developing your own players i think and hope this is what ashley actually wants....if he stays? it will take time which i dont mind...but the organisation needs to do it right but im afraid what we have now ain´t good enough...wise ect. the appointment of the new manager is so very very important...if they do wrong there im not sure i can take any more :-[

sad to keegan go.....but actually i have been kind of glad of ashleys long term strategy....clearing dephts ect. ....but what i really dont like is that a manager dont sign his own players and have control over his squad.....wise should get rid....and if we absolutely need a person in that role he should only make recommendations of new players to the manager....3-4 different persons cant build a squad or concept of football together. I think keegan was wrong when he didnt wanted to sell milner for 12 mill......but maybe he knew he woulnt get a replacement? smith should have left as well....mainly because of his high wages! Being a Dane...i have followed Michael Laudrup quiet alot.....and i dont think he is what we need! would love him to do a great job....but doubt he could! I WOULD GO FOR: Rijkaard or Mancini (if he speaks the language)

always enjoyed riquelme....but its too late! 30 years and not getting younger! hes a luxury player (dont think he works hard enough). would prefer saviola or someone else for the position behind the striker. saviolas age is better, hes fast,works harder and scores goals. riquelme always been a favorite though....he could be a real threat from set pieces! go buy aguero or raul garcia from atl madrid

no one will make a move for him in this window! he should sign a new contract. don´t care about the length or clauses! but he should accept a pay cut in wages! he can´t still not get a better deal elsewhere....and if he did....we wouldn´t be first choice....none of the bigger clubs would take the chance on him as first choice! if he stays fit most of the season im sure he will score 15+....but he´s attitude annoys me! he´s our captain......

dont know warnock that well but he sounds like a ok signing if the price isnt too high! if we pay less than 3 mill it would be ok i guess. But when we bought bassong i thought he would be back up for enrique?....anyway competion is good and it would be nice to see charles Z. in his right position as an attacking winger! He could be really good if kk sorted him out (attitude,motivation) ...regular first team football would do wonders...i hope....he can score goals and assist....just what we need! duff would be decent back up for now if he can maintain pre-season form! In fact....im getting excited and ready for the new season.....think we are close to what we need or what is realistic to get in 1 window. sign warnock or taiwo, keep milner and then we should only concentrate on bringing in central midfielders (defensive and attacking) if we cant get the right striker this window....then wait...no need to panic!!!

i would sell for 8 mill +....or rather keep him! But if we could get swp, lennon or joaquin instead it would be nice! in fact, the right midfield position wouldn´t be the most difficult position to get quality...if we are willing to spend!

really really annoys me that we are linked with a bid for rangers goalie mcgregor 5 mill. +......hope theres nothing in it! Why would we spend money on that when we have given, harper and krul? krul is still too young.....maybe we wanna use given in a swap deal? i really really like us to keep given...but again if he cant stay fit (not getting younger) maybe we should sell now? though call....but would prefer to keep harper, given and krul for a few years more...given and harper seems to work well together, both good goalies and krul should go away on loan for a couple of seasons. we should use money and energy in other departments in this difficult window!

dont believe in a flat 4-4-2 either....but i do like us to have 2 wide wingers. we need a person to link midfield (central) and attack. that should be first priority! these players could be hard to find because it a very important position if we go for that formation. He MUST be able to score himself or set up others!

in difficult matches i think it could be alright to play 4 midfielders and in front of them (central) the attacking midfielder,forward, playmaker and behind the 1 striker (owen or martins). But the new man behind the single striker needs to get forward and at the same time be good at creating chances and score himself.......but such a player is diffcult to find and very expensive! I also think it would be "easy" to change the formation during games if necessary. for example 4-4-2 or diamond

I think we need a central attacking midfielder (playmaker) type. we havent been able to create enough chances for some time and i see that as our biggest problem for the new season! We have to spend big on a player for that position! but again, what formation will kk go for? we need someone with pace, creativity who also can work in a flat 4-4-2 if we wanna play with wings. im not sure a diamond formation is what we need! another option is 4-4-1-1.....in such a formation diego, arshavin or mouthinho type would be great (know each of them are hard to get) But it would be easy to switch from that formation to a 4-4-2 or even a diamond if we are favorits!

Agree replacements is needed if we sell any of these.....but these are the players i dont see have a future here......get rid asap and start building something new!

Im aware we cant sell all the players i mentioned earlier without replacing them! All of them seems to have reached their highest so therefore rather replace them with younger players with potential (if money is an issue). k k slowly needs to bulid his own squad because its impossible to do in 1 window and normally not very clever....unless you have big money to spend like spurs :-[ so an average season wouldnt be that bad as long as we are building a squad, developing style/concept and not buying shortsited or in panic! If viduka and duffy could stay fit the hole season or most of it they could be really good for us....just dont think its physically possiblity ! ! !

Know our squad is small....but would sell all these players for the price! cacapa 1+ mill duff 3+ geremi? smith 3,5+ ameobi 3+ viduka?
