Every player knew exactly what they should be doing at all times and collectively it showed many more times than not. Did you see that second half on Sunday? Was like watching school kids run around after a caser. Already feels to me like Bruce has undone the 3 years of work in one game. Yeah i get that. Had a think about it. Maybe Rafa could break top ten in three years with this squad but not Bruce. Do think we’ll be able to stay up but that’s all it’ll ever be. I’d take Pardew back with this squad.

I wanted us to lose games when Pardew was winless in eight. Usually when a manager has a run like that, they’re sacked. But I don’t want us to lose games now. I’d rather we just stay in the Prem. That way I can watch us on TV every week. Guess I’m not so different from those who want to go to the stadium and “get away from their wife”. I appreciate it'd be tough if overseas fans can't get to see championship games but: being in the premier League = Ashley never leaves So be it. Least we get to sign players like ASM. Liverpool still need a creative mid. Their midfield is being bypassed tonight. Milner and Henderson are too samey. Perhaps if Firmino came on for Milner and Oxlade was put into midfield it could be better.

Same shots on target as last year 2 for us, 2 for them. So not freaking out yet. Think we're just plain better than some teams. Strikers will get firing. Hopefully Saturday 3pm.

Is the question what player do you think you play like? I think i play like Luis Suarez. I have the same dogged style. I’m not particularly skillful but everything I do is technically sound. If I have the opportunity to shoot, I will. Play with my head up at all times. Utilize the toe poke fairly often. Just always trying to surprise the opposition with my movement. Really liked Suarez at the Copa America this past year. He’d just be shooting from anywhere. Taking the ball down on his chest and blasting it from 30 yards. Scored a toe poke today and someone said that they were embarrassed to have been scored on by me. I’m not the type of player to get on the ball and have a lot of touches. I’m just trying to score and win. Also the other team had the ball and I told the opposition player to pass back and he did. I’m a bastard on the field.
