  1. Just thinking back to the last time Milner and Messi met.
  2. I don't think he understands Barca. Watched a game the other day and Barca were doing their Barca thing and they gave the ball to him and he should run with it and they all wanted him to, but he would play their game and pass around. But he couldn't do it well. Took him two or three touches to get the ball under control. Just looked at his stats. He's played 47 times this season. Incredible. Has two goals but SIX assists. Do we have any German fans here? How did Bayern feel about losing him?
  3. Took me a while to really appreciate the old Barca - Iniesta, Xavi, Messi, Neymar, but I don't like this new one. Hope Liverpool smash 'em. Sick of La Liga winning everything. Find Spanish football really boring. Passing for no reason. Much prefer the direct Premier League style. Get the ball, where's the striker? Give it to him. Score. You must love Sam allardyce football. The Bolton one, yes. In the end he turned into a gimmick. Remember watching West Ham play and every single time they got the ball, they lumped the ball up to Carroll and Nolan in the box. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Ball was cleared. Collins or whoever got it, hoofed it right back into the opposition box. Torturous stuff.

Although I don't agree, I kind of take your point to a degree, but it's not passing for no reason. It's passing to create space, pull players out of position, create overloads, and then, when the ball is delivered to the forward players, the chances of scoring are much higher. The Premier League is currently being won, dominated even for a second year running by a manager who does exactly that. Agree that Pep has changed the way the PL is played now. It's the best of both worlds now. Passing out the back but with scoring in mind. Teams going 4-3-3 is really exciting. I like watching La Liga but it can be really tedious at times.

  6. Aye. Watching footy in America is pretty drab. Can’t get drunk with mates for games because they’re on so early.
  7. If Alli had backheeled that, Rose would have been in.
  8. Spurs really should have signed somebody in January.
  9. Alli's been wank this season. Scored against us the bastard but hasnt need as inflential as previous seasons.
  10. Sanchez looks like the only one up for it.
  11. Spurs can't cope. They're just going route one every time.
  12. Tottenham players already losing it.
  13. Honestly feels like Ajax can do whatever they want on the field.
  14. He pings the ball around but to anyone who's in space. He doesn't take the technical ability of the player he's passing to into account. He pinged over a few balls to Manquillo who just isn't good enough to control those sort of balls. Hopefully we get someone from the continent to take his place in the team. He's not reliable enough and the type of football we play just isn't suited to him.
  15. Toughest choice in there. I almost picked Sissoko. Have you heard of a man named Keegan? Updated 1. Given 2. Coloccinni 3. Jose Enrique 4. Solano 5. Schar 6. Lascelles 7. Keegan 8. Beardsley 9. Shearer 10. Ben Arfa 11. Speed
  16. Fletcher seems alright. Evra needs to grow up. Scholes will never be happy.
  17. I have no memory of Nobby ever wearing the number 6. 24 when he first came then 15 followed by 4 and back to 15 before he went to West Ham.
  18. How'd I forget Beardley? 8 has to be Beardsley.
  19. Toughest choice in there. I almost picked Sissoko.
