I was just about to post the complete opposite. He has gone awol in the past but he's been involved regularly tonight and has been very tidy in possession too. He's a completely different player now. Just took a look at that Crespo goal. Brilliant. Placed to perfection.

Was watching the Sergio Ramos last minute winner and got to wondering who the best header-er of the ball is? C Ronaldo is the best I've seen. Excellent leap and timing. The one he scored against Roma in the CL was probably the best headed goal I've ever seen. Speed, desire and bravery. I don't even think he was in the camera shot when the cross was put in. Shearer's another. He scored a boat load of them. Tim Cahill had a knack for scoring headers despite not being the biggest. Seem to remember Klose scoring a lot. Anytime I saw barca take a corner, Puyol would get on the end of it. His will to win was incredible. If anyone knows a good sire for headed goal stats, please post it.

Seriously watch his goals. They're scruffy like all the other goals West Brom score. Goals from set pieces where the ball is bouncing around and a CB ends up on it. Of his 23 PL goals, five were penalties. Three assists in his PL career. I don't think he's worth the trouble he'll cause.

Don't want him either. He does have a bad attitude and I don't think he's that good anyway. A lot of his goals were penalties and tap ins. Seen plenty of games where he was completely ineffective.

My girlfriend is Mexican so I have a soft spot for their national team. I'll look out for him during CL Porto games, but he's never stood out. He must be amazing in Portugal to warrant his price tag, though. Come to think of it, I've seen him in a couple hammerings - Bayern and Chile. Of the Mexican contingent they have, Jesus Corona and Layun look better.
