  1. I can't make it to any of the three matches, and that just fucking sucks.
  2. Boca - River Plate is always full and a mad house (in terms of domestic games)......shame there is no derby next season. River relegated ffs...... Very true. Didn't think about that. Shame about River Plate.
  3. I don't think I've ever seen a game in South America where the stadium is full. Seems weird.
  4. Lull? Lull? How can you say it is a lull? More like a temporary lack of movement if you ask me...
  5. God, I hate lulls in the transfer window.
  6. We're very impressed -- to say the least -- with such extensive use of unnecessary emphasis in an entirely irrelevant blog post.
  7. I totally read the rule wrong (like it was three seasons, period, or 36 months before his 21st birthday). Should have been pretty obvious with the "home grown" and all .
  8. Are we likely to run into any issues with the home-grown players rule, with the way things are going? Am I correct that Colo and Jonas would count as home grown next season, under the three-year registration provision?

  10. I would have wished him a better destination. Good luck to him.
  11. At some point last season weren't some people advocating his selection for England, on form?
  12. We're gonna win Ligue 1 on our first try.
  13. Only 42 pages in. They're getting more efficient!

Open your eyes and look within: Are they satisfied with the life they're living? They know where they're going; They know where they're from. They're leaving Babylon, y'all! They're going to our Father's land.
  16. This exactly, hopefully this isn't the first domino been flicked, but it seems likely. These pretty much sum up how I feel. Regardless of his limitations as a player, he seemed central to a solid team chemistry that was something to build around. Disrupting that chemistry is a bit unsettling. That may be giving too much weight to an intangible sense of team spirit, but that sense of team seemed to be something that was sorely lacking in the years leading up to relegation.
  17. Barca is like the rich good looking guy in high school who is good at sports and academics, and all the chicks love him even though he's got a smarmy personality. You want to knee him in the face.
  18. Stuck with Wigan for yet another year. Yay.
  19. All in all a way better performance this season than I had feared. Obviously plenty of bad to go along with the good, but still.
