  1. Jonathan Wilsons pod looking at the 4-3 Liverpool game, despite his leanings its good and fair as ever.

    sunderland

Yeah another thread refers to them as biggest club in the division, unsure about criteria for that you'd imagine Leeds by a distance . . .
  3. Yeah I think lee Ryder is ok on chronicle pods. I like John Gibson but he veers into Abraham Simpson onion on the belt territory quite a bit. The two young lads are ok, feel that they are constantly pushed to release ‘content’ when there’s not that much to talk about though so skipped loads pre season. Wasn’t a fan of the Notts based bloke on there.

    The Other 18

Worst Man United and Liverpool Next worst Arsenal, Villa, Everton and Chelsea Random dislike for Palace, the ultra thing is a bit cringe, south london hispter types taking moral high ground, I bet most of them supported other sides before they became premier league regulars/also rans. Dislike West Ham over owners/ground, didn't mind them at old ground, Spurs for perceived big club thing Don't mind/care: Wolves, Forest, Brentford, Leicester, Bournemouth, Saints, Ipswich, Fulham, Indifferent to Man city, blandly impressive and hollow,
  5. Favourite: Pav Venison Dabizas Albert Beresford Solano Lee Beardsley Gillespie Ferdinand Cole Best: Given Trippier Woodgate Botman Hughes Solano Lee Bruno Robert Shearer Isak We all have our bias and reasons etc, a few of them could easy have been in either one but wanted to use as many players as possible. Agree what others have said about it being easier to idolise when younger, a few of the current crop are up there after a barren decade +
  6. Is anyone able to tell me how much a kids ticket is in the family enclosure? I’ve just been quoted £49 for an adult and a kid but wanted the breakdown. Thanks
  7. bit weird the keeper wearing a different badge to rest of the team. Hopefully they can keep the nufc badge for a silver kit in future similar to the 80's one, Arsenal seem to have a full range based on their third kit, wonder if one follows for us.
  8. Has always been kosher with me
  9. Leeds advert is great too, getting the old badge with red bull sponsor matching the colour scheme, but oddly not getting the trefoil.
  10. Villa thing is class, had to turn it off at CL music, had almost forgot about that!
  11. none in north shields today, apparently same for silverlink, ordered L/s from adidas site
  12. £50 on jd, that long sleeved one is immense however.
  13. not the same level of scrutiny thought, shouldn't be an issue anyway after Sven and Capello.
  14. bloody hell! either that or dhgate have them.

    England

Echo what people said about the last euros meaning a bit more, partially I think as nufc was at such a low ebb then so it was nice to get behind something. I even went to the Czech game although it felt very weird being in a 1/4 full Wembley so the atmosphere inside wasn't great.
  16. I work near the training ground and the staff are all wearing green adidas nufc gear, not sure if a pic has been posted but very nice.
  17. Italy have been poor and im not too sure they have much better to come, England beat them fairly comfortably twice in qualifying so theoretically nothing to feat although hard to get excited about it all so far. The combined population of England 4 opponents so far is only about 20 million if that.
  18. yeah I think Pearce may have scored too, wore the Blue away shirt
  19. It definitely dilutes the quality, from the 16 team days you could usually make a case for 8-9 potential winners, so more than half the field. That said I favour Wales for tenuous reasons so haven't been bothered much until this edition, although Wales would have qualified anyway in 16 I think. It annoys the OCD in me that you can't do a proper bracket now, and like others have said it makes the qualifying extremely tedious for the top nations. 8 teams was mental France never even qualified to defend title in 88 and in 92 you had Italy, Spain and Belgium all miss out. Watching it back it definitely didn't have the same 'big tournament' feel until expansion in 96, although i'm sure others would disagree.
  20. aye suppose that wording makes more sense. Ox and plough was almost exclusively black and white when I used to drink there years ago. Galleries had kiosk from 91 too before any safc stuff.
  21. Washy majority black and white IMO, my old local was virtually all mags, less so when I was at school. Don't venture that way often now but i'd imagine it's only going one way.
  22. aye I got XL and its fine, got xxl in castore pro.
  23. thought it would be on adidas site too, prices seems reasonable for hoodies etc after castore, only disappointment is lack of long sleeves or pre match. hey are going to stagger everything and milk gullible fools like me.
  24. Hoping the ne29 jd sports have them in so I can pop in on work break.
