Finished on 43, 105 overall.
Al Habsi on my bench (7), Given starting (2), Simpson on my bench (6), meanwhile my defence was Baines 2, Hughes 1, Shawcross 1, Cahill 1.
Big dilemma this week.
-
37 with Nani and Ashley Young to come.
Considering Baines -> S. Taylor and then Cabaye -> Silva and I'll take the 4 point hit.
-
Don't know if I'm being biased, but definitely top 3 CB in the league for me.
-
Outstanding young goalkeeper. One of my West Ham supporting mates thinks he's the best goalkeeper under 23 in the world.
-
I think he'll be much more effective as an impact sub.
So much this.
He has the skills, he has the pace, but one thing that he lacks is confidence.
Wasn't great today, but he was far from 'turboshit'. He's definitely shown promising signs for me - however I do think he is going to be best used as an impact sub

Don't think Sunderland can complain, despite having more of the play they created virtually nothing, their two best chances were from a long way out.
We had 10 shots on target to their 5, also. Not sure where the 10 shots came from but it came up at the end of the game.

Our defence has been amazing in the first two games, Coloccini and Steven Taylor have been fantastic.

8 hours until KO
I'm usually ok before derbies, but I'm especially nervous for this one, moreso than normal anyway.
Huge pressure on Pardew here. Let's see what he's made of on the football pitch, because we know he's a puppet behind the scenes.

Yeah, read 1 or 2 people on that social networking tool that nobody likes.
Nothing concrete obviously, apologies for not stating beforehand.
-
Reports around today reckon we've increased our bid to £9.5m
-
According to Mark Douglas, he wanted to join us but we couldn't reach an agreement with him regarding bonuses

I hate derby day Certainly won't be able to sleep tonight. Can't both sides just agree to a draw?
Stop being a pussy.
We'll beat them.
We won't, like.
There's two types of people in the world. Optimists and pessimists. Optimists are the only ones that ever get anywhere in life.
To paraphrase a Christ Tait article in the Mag, it's statistically proven that those with a naturally sunnier disposition die on average earlier than their morose counterparts. In conclusion, I'll happily continue being a cynical, grumpy atheist.
But you have to enjoy life. No point being here for longer if you're always being cynical.

9pm on TV here, I finish work at 8:30 and I work about half an hour away, safe to say I'll be speeding on the way home!
I'm pretty sure it will be a draw, I'll tip 1-1. Both teams will be cautious because it's a game that neither manager can really afford to lose.

What happens if, low and behold, we actually win on Saturday?
Still doomed?
-
Teams need 3 keepers. It's easy to say 'but we have Harper', however he showed he was on a downhill spiral last year and he's probably even worse now.
I mean, it's fucking annoying because despite being desperate for a LB and a ST, we haven't managed to sign one and a keeper isn't that high on the priority list and we've managed to sign one straight away, but whatever.
-
Are people using their wildcards already to make so many transfers, or just taking the points deduction?
Unlimited transfers for this gameweek because of the fuck-up last week. Points appear to come off, but they'll get re-added on.
-
55 with Yaya to play.
Cahill 13
-
There's nobody to hold the ball up, so ultimately we're clearing it straight back to them for them to come at us again.
Get Obertan on to link the midfield and striker, I say striker because it has to be one of Ameobi or Ba that makes way.

Stop the lies man Alan
Can he win?
If he came out and said 'there's no money to be spent', everyone would still be cracking the shits.
-
Was good defensively but failed to do anything of note offensively.
-
No Marveaux on the bench?
-
Yellow was 100% correct there.
What shite. I want the mackems to win, but it was a blatant red. He was rounding the keeper, it was still a very obvious goal scoring opportunity, and he was definitely the last man.
He was heading out towards the corner flag, you can have your opinion but you're wrong.

Wigan, Blackburn, Norwich, Swansea, QPR are all far worse than we are.
