This is the kind of stuff that makes me believe that the feasibility study will end up showing that expanding SJP is not the preferred option for the club. Best case scenario is moving it up the hill a bit with a world class stadium in Leazes Park and turning SJP into a new city park leading up to the new stadium - hopefully incorporating the history of SJP into it (ie: keeping the pitch where it is or something similar).

It seemed very very precautionary rather than anything else. He wasn’t in any real pain or anything (at least that’s what it seemed like).

Obviously I agree. They have mentioned that this is the “inaugural” Premier League Summer Series so I’d imagine the one next season might be a West Coast type thing. I don’t imagine we’ll be involved again so quickly but hopefully when they do a Midwest one we’ll be involved and can go.

I love playing teams from the league to be honest. It’s a much better run out than going to like Japan and playing a bunch of their local teams. That being said, I’d love to see us go somewhere like Brazil or Argentina and play their teams too though.
