Anyone still worried about Villa?

Ideal scenario is Spurs play for some self respect the rest of this week and at least get a couple draws.

Everyone will be complaining if Bruno gets (more) hurt after being up 5-0.

Obviously don’t have all the info but I find it pretty irresponsible that Bruno is still out there.

They deserve all that and more just for the Saudi Arabia FC shit.

This and selfishly want more and a record.

He’s not even going into challenges now. Really shouldn’t be out there.

Eddie needs to tell them the record is 9-0.

Yeah, but with three games this week he should be off asap. I’m guessing Eddie would like to get to halftime.

They said on the US broadcast that Stellini said something about 3 or 5 at the back. They were speculating too though.

There was no chance of him dropping Burn for this. I do think he needs a rest in one of the next two.

2-1 win, though I really hope it’s more comfortable than that.

Personally would love for them to come up. The Ashley era derbies were by and large a disgrace (the 5-1 aside). This would be something else entirely.

I don’t think the failures of the past will derail this team, no. If we falter it will be because of lack of depth (either a key injury or two or tired legs into the finish). I just don’t see the point in worrying about Villa as the odds of them being the team that finish 4th to our 5th are minuscule. If we collapse and finish on 68 points or less then we’re probably going to finish 6th or even 7th.

Realistically they were never in it except for the most pessimistic. But today made it nearly impossible for them to catch us barring a massive collapse. 4 wins and a draw and they mathematically can’t, so unless you think we’re going to finish the season on our worst run of form in over a year then they will not be in the CL at our expense. Not to mention they play Man United, Spurs, Liverpool, and Brighton in their remaining six games. If they go unbeaten it will help us tremendously.

At least one team was eliminated today and it’s a very helpful one as Villa could really help us the rest of the way.

This is misleading/wrong. As of now they don’t have the upper tier open - they are using the Atlanta FC setup, not NFL, so the capacity is quite a bit smaller. I’m also pretty sure they haven’t released all seats in a section. Some are being held for next week.
