I know this is bullshit, but I can't stop myself from getting a little excited.
-
This is probably the best we can hope for. Get to see a full season of both Krul and Forster in the PL and then we can make the big decision next summer. Harper is fine as a backup (as long as he never plays).
-
On a different day with the way the two teams have played it could easily be 5-0 Mexico. USA lucky to be in it at this point.
-
I like Wearside. Being American I haven't had much interaction with mackems. He's giving me a deeper understanding of the hatred and pity.
-
Are those special frames for shirts or just regular ones? They do look a little deeper. I have a Shearer shirt that I've been wanting to frame and can't find one that works, including the $100 one now collecting dust upstairs.

When I woke up this the morning the first thing that popped into my head is that we're going to draw Birmingham in one of the cups. Not a doubt in my mind it will happen.
-
What the fuck? Please tell me that's real.
-
Would you prefer him to Erdinç?
-
I like Caulkin, but he doesn't seem to be in the loop this summer.
-
Hope so, he's garbage. Would be a great signing for Hughton.
-
He'll play baseball for a season and come back to Newcastle wearing the 45 shirt. Nailed on. This gave me a good chuckle.

This genius needs find some answers from his stats to why Arsenal crumble year after year come the run in to the end of the season and come up with a fecking good solution I think you'll find one of the main reasons for that is the human element that statisticians like to pretend doesn't exist.
-
What if he thinks he's better than Krul and Harper and can win the job?
-
Douglas said earlier today he thinks there might be some transfer news by the end of the week (Taylor?). Also said he will be off for about a week, so there goes one of the better sources of information.
-
So we have to respond (publicly) to every bid now? Be a very busy summer releasing statements then. Don't you know when you reject a bid you need to choose an option from "he is an indispensable member of the squad", "he is a key first team player" or "he is a hot prospect for the future". I'm sure there are tons of offers we get that we never hear about. That would be the case with this one if Lennon wasn't chirping about it. People seem to forget that we're only getting snippets of what's actually happening behind the scenes.

Do you think £9m is over the odds for a player of his abilty? If you don't think it is an inflated price for his ability then the point about his contract becomes moot. Could we attract anyone a) better or b) if yes, cheaper? I think the answer to both is no, so it's a no-brainer that we should pay whatever it takes (upto a certain limit of course but I think the limit is within our reach). Precisely, I'm all for a bit of frugality but at £9m we're effectively talking about a buy-back clause of £3m! Having said that, as much I'd love zog here (never wanted him to leave), I'd rather the money got put to a number 9. Seems very fair when you look at it that way. He's a better player than when he left here.
-
Believe his contract is up next June.
-
Why? He offers us very little, especially if we're after Matuidi and going to play a 4-3-3.
-
Got to 11 seconds. Felt the same anxiety I get when we have a one goal lead late. Fuck that.
-
Exactly what I thought. Not sure how it's worrying at all.
-
Regardless of what is said or written about I don't think we will ever drop out of the race for N'Zogbia. Until he's sold somewhere else I'm sure we will be keeping tabs on his situation, haggling with Wigan/him, etc.
-
Tiote by far. HBA second and then Shola v. the mackems for me. Funny that Raylor has two goals on there. He probably only played in five games, plus he's just terrible.
-
Not sure, I can't even remember how this started. If so, then what the hell is taxfree arguing about?
-
Not sure how anyone can comment on what's important to someone else. I'm sure there are players, especially those that have already made a lot of money, who would play for free if that was their only option as they love playing. Others would probably quit tomorrow if they felt they had enough money because they don't enjoy it as much. Who the hell knows what Owen Hargreaves wants at this point. I would say this whole conversation is pointless, but Ethi never fails to entertain.
