  1. Did little looking tbh. We have a roofless shed about 5 metres deep and 3 wide, which in itself, isn't thst big, but once youl fill it with probably around a tonne of materials, bamboo and plastic it becomes a bastard to organise Found a new place for the massive WATM surfer for now...
  2. Spent tonight moving it, 8 of us Only took about 3 hours.
  3. The middle east is well behind the times (from our western perspective) in a multitide of ways and hence why I (perhaps naively) think sportswashing may help drag a region or nation forward by bridging gaps in culture and belief. I agree, I don't think it's racist to say that (about the middle east). I'm just trying say though, that as a nation we cannot ignore our past, when trying to analyse anothers present/future.
  4. Well yeah, so I guess that further strengthens my point in relation to that article. My overall point, is that we're all just hypocrites calling out one anothers hypocrisy.
  5. I agree. However, what I would argue is that at a point in history, we also would have had human rights abuses on a list as long as our arms. We just live in a different world now, with increased surveillence and spotlights on such crime. Perhaps, this is a movement by the Saudis into the modern world. Perhaps I'm being naive, but I suppose everyone needs the chance of redwmption, as a nation (not so much as individuals).
  6. I'm uncomfortable with their ownership, but more because as a football purist I think these sorts of transactions are ruining the competitivity of the game. It's poor governance and greed. I'm a believer in the whole 50+1 giving fans the largest say type model. What owners do politically or morally away from the club is largely down to governments and activist groups, although, if it brings a particular club into disrepute then fair dues if fans want to speak out. And it's for that reason you could argue we should be speaking out now, and I feel uncomfortable because there's a degree of hypocrisy from people like me who protested vs Ashley for his working ethics. However, I did so as a tool to get him out my club when he started asset stripping rather than to drive him out of Sports Direct. I find myself making excuses to detract from a poor human rights record and that's wrong. The whole thing is "if you can't beat 'em, join' em". Does that make us as fans the bad guys though? I don't think so... (apologies for the lack of structure in what I'm trying to say...)
  7. Don't think he's the right manager necessarily but the romantic in me would love to see Mourinho here, building it up and winning us silverware. Feels destined to happen at some point, and I feel because of his ego, this inevitable siege mentaliity would work hugely for us.
  8. I think Wor Flags should continue in a similar vain to previous. If we think it's relevant to our fans then display it, we're there to try and demonstrate the fans feeling, not tell them how to feel. So aye, I think down the line such displays (for equality) should continue. Just my personal opinion.
  9. I honestly don't think this will be an issue, doing this sort of display.
  10. I think we believe in it not having club involvement generally. Because the club is ours (the fans) .
  11. Yes. We are Trying to catch up with the 700 messages in that group as we speak.

  13. Sack of shit. Hope we're ruthless. Sack the fucker tomorrow. Get Conte. Shore uo the back and get us comfortably mid table. Spruce up all our facilities and build next summer
  14. Ironically, going to see Inter vs Juve note than likely. With the Inter half of the family one snaton for one conte please
  15. Coooooeeeeeee over here top 6! Remember when you thought you'd mug us all off now who's the boss man in town.
  16. Surreal this. Don't wanna sleep me. Just absolutely out this world this is. Feels like every fucking moment in the pissing rain, dishing our flyers, flags, trying to convince passers by to use their voice, being laughed at, ridiculed, alienated... Alienated to the point you question what the fuck you're actually doing has all been worthwhile. Some fucking daft cunts out there can say protests were abject failures feom their ivory tower, but I tell you what, those same subjects of "abject failure" will make 10 times the noise of some fucking posh twat in their box. This is for the protestors. It's for all our fans, but primarily them. Making a sacrifice for those who still went. For those who wanted to go in the future, for themselves. NIL DESPERANDUM
