  1. Already made a conscious decision not to watch this anywhere other than at home. Cannot see us winning and subsequently I will be fucked off even more than prior to the game.
  2. In reality they have doubled ST prices the last two years, what with only turning up for the first 9/10 games of each one Aye. Nail on head.
  3. For me, there hasn't been enough pressure placed on Ashley for a sustained period of time. The lads/lasses who ran SackPardew did it for long enough for the media to catch on and the same needs to apply with Cashley. Only, with this fat c*** it needs to be a bit more excessive. He won't be at half the games so it won't get to him half as much, or even at all. Not turning up to fixtures would be the last attempt for me. I don't believe in boycotting unless it is going to be done large-scale. For me the perfect protest would be to get everyone who is boycotting, not to go in the ground, but to go to the ground, and sing for the team from outside. Problem being, no c*** sings anyway these days. I know for a fact some will oppose me in my area of the ground, but I feel like I am in a "f***ed off" enough position now to not really give a kick in the c***. I will be singing anti-Ashley songs, whether people like it or not. I just need to think of some new songs... ( ) You cannot treat the fanbase like morons just because they choose to continue. In one sense it is defiance. The same way you cannot blame people for jacking it in. That too is defiance. Ashley needs to collectively be defied in one way. The right way, will unfortunately never be decided.

to the point. I agree, I honestly cannot see how it's possible for him to be in charge past the summer. Even our fans won't allow it. Same was said about Pardew, within two months most of the fanbase were lodged up his arse. We're already seeing justification for him: open attacking football against Southampton, 20 minutes against Chelsea... If the players string two passes together at any point in the next five months, there'll be a significant minority wanting him in full time. As I've said before, Carver doesn't have the nous to placate and deceive the fans to anything like the extent Pardew did. Nor does he have a 5th place finish to defend his position with. I think you might be overestimating the correlation between an Ashley-backed manager keeping his job and that manager having the backing of the fans. Also, getting the backing of these fans is easy as most don't really give a s*** either way. Carver's not Pardew. He'll crack like a cheap ornament under any significant pressure from the fans. Of which I'm sure there'll be plenty. I really do think even the most battered of the battered wives are on the verge of drawing a line now. I agree.

Get him, he's trying to dream!!
  6. Well done by the Zuma or whatever he is caald.
  7. Larsson man...ergh. Horrible little cunt what he is.
  8. Quality player but I cannot get away with him like. Just seems a bit of a cunt. People probably said that about Shearer though and to me he was perfect.
  9. eh? Have a look at Cisse's pass statistics comparable to say Colbacks. Obvs they will righty vary in position. Aye, but the pass success rate is the important thing, across the board. Volume doesn't really matter, unless someone always gets caught dribbling it. Obviously midfielders should be passing it more, and therefore it is more difficult to sustain a higher pass succession percentage. I'm not that stupid. To imply that a defenders pass succession is less relevant than another positions is silly though, imo. I'm a CB though... Nah I'm saying that a defender with a high passing statistic is more unsual and therefore worthy of note like. Aye, in terms of volume, I'd agree. It's not the point I was getting at though. I was just saying (as a bystander in the debate between TT and Co.) that pass succession is equally as important regardless of position.
  10. Hate that little fucker.

  12. Surely the passing stat is relevant for every footballer, regardless of position... If you lose possession, your team loses possession. If there's a weak link anywhere in the team who does this, then it is relevant regardless of position.
  13. ...and I'll have no axe to grind if he does decide to move on. He's got his career to think about and wanting to achieve things before he hangs up his boots is natural and understandable. Him showing a bit of ambition at this point in time contrasts perfectly with our latest managerial appointment and magnifies the differences in ambition and goals. He's not the weird one for having ambition, we're the freaks for actively wanting to stand stock still. Couldn't agree more.
  14. I thoroughly expect him to be gone by the end of the week...
  15. In a position where we are already weak we sell our strongest option there...

"I know her better than anyone else. Pass the scalpel." This sums up my thoughts on Carver. Don't hate the chap at all. I just think he will be found to be out his depth. I'm more angry at the board (again) than owt else.

7 for me. I only see us losing to Hull and I think given the feeling around the club it will spiral downwards, and quickly. We might stay up but we won't be sitting as comfortably as we should be. We don't have anyone up for a fight and we have a team of mercenaries, the same as the last time we went down. I just hope the rest are as shit as we all think...

They should be following up this appointment with news of who the new head coach will be in the summer. They won't though, we all know that. Fucking cunts.
  20. Worryingly, we might be signing someone from a team we could well be playing next season. Not much of a step-up for the highly-rated, youngster at all...
