  1. Must be to think that there is any possibility we might go behind to the scum, but other than that, no.

To be fair, the ooh's and aah's were directed at all of the players by that time. I hate it when people do that as it doesn't help the players, it's the same when people start whistling at the end, it just gets the players to panic. You're right, on this occassion. If they're in Black and White people should get behind them, unless they clearly don't give 100%. As frustrating as Ben Arfa may be, he is clearly talented and puts the effort in.
  4. What odds did you get? Pretty short tbh, 10/1. Still whacked a tenner on it like.
  5. I bet that if we won the league, some people would still complain on here.

He's a one trick pony who has lucked himself into a job and for the first half of the season he lucked himself through games which we didn't deserve to get points from. We were getting points because Ba was getting goals from nothing when the service to him was poor yet he still managed to pull balls from behind him to bury when realistically he shouldn’t have had a chance. Our football has for much of the time been turgid dross but we’ve got away with it by going to places like QPR and lucking a draw. He’s lucked his way to getting a point at home against Spurs when he brought on the same stroller as he did yesterday but Stroller managed a goal. Our performances are now getting the kind of results that we deserved earlier in the season and instead of turning nothing performances into points, we’re starting to go the other way and turning fortunate positions into negative results. Our football under Pardew has been poor because that’s the way he likes to play football. We have good players who are watching the ball fly past them as the ball goes from back to front with one big hoof. The players who could control games are being bypassed for much of the game. The amount of money spent isn't a reflection on the type of players we've brought in. We've spent low and still managed to bring in quality because unlike Pardew, Carr is actually good at his job and we've benefited from that in as much as we have good players, even if the manager doesn't know how to get the best out of them. Can you list these good performances that you mention? Sunderland away, Stoke away, Man United away, Man United at home, Chelsea at home. What was bad about those perfomances? We were solid and played teams at their own games, only losing one of them, might I add.

Pardew has got a number of players best out of them for a long part of the season, almost to a greater level than they've probably ever played at. Namely those with lesser ability on our flanks. Carr has scouted exceedingly well and I applaud our transfer policy. to say we lucked our way to our position is fucking ridiculous. We got there from being an organised and dedicatd dfensive unit. If you want to see champagne football and below expectation results fuck off to the Emirates. I want to see us get undeserved results and be higher up the league than expected. I've seen 'The Entertainers' and I've seen 'Return of the Entertainers' and I've also seen us win fuck all in the 17 years i've followed the club. Whilst I appreciate you have probably gone longer, it's not warner brothers it's St James' Park.

Whlst it would be dissappointing, to go as far as calling it a failure is a bit pathetic imo.
  10. I bet he doesn't have a clue what that means.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Tell you what needs to stop, his arse being on the bench at the start of the game while we continue to be unable to break down teams like Wolves and Swansea at home. I agree with that also, mind.

So finishing below 5th or 6th would be a failure? Are you kidding me?

some had us for 7th wth a possibility of overtaking one of liverpool, arsenal, spurs. (turns out chelsea have moved into spurs place on the list. If you could spare the time I would like you to point out who. Not being funny with you btw, I just want to personally cyber-pat them on the pack. me Well done squire, I applaud your optimism. realism not optimism, we have a first 15 better than those apart from the top 5 or so. Debateable, but fair enough.
  14. ...next week, in the very unlikely event of us going behind to S*nderland, can those of you who sat on your hands with your gobs shut yesterday when things stopped going so well, please find your faith and get behind your club? Yesterday was a-f***ing-bysmal second half. Anyone can support a club doing well. Sorry - but it had to be said.

Aren't you forgetting teams like Villa and Stoke who didn't have a complete overhaul of players? Everton possibly also? We went backwards before we could go forwards, and we've actually gone very far forwards.

The whole team didn't play great today, so to rule out any one player alone would be unfair. On the other hand, this wankfest around Ben Arfa needs to stop, and seemingly, very slowly is. Thank fuck.

What has he done to be brilliant or good? Errr...get us into the top 7 of the league with an opportunity to play European football next season, despite having a slightly better than average squad and minimal spending money. After taking over a squad who were 100% behind the previous manager and maintaining good performances despite a total overhaul of key players. Like I said, there are some spackers on here, and i mean that in the least offensive way that can be interpreted.
  20. Don't want him to go until we have adequately replaced him.

    Alan Pardew

How the fuck can anyone say he has done anything other than good or brilliant? There's some fucking spackers on here like. Can anyone seriously say, that with the other managers available to us we would be any higher in the league? People need to get a fucking grip man.

    Ryan Taylor

If a player in the Premiership fears Ryan Taylor then he shouldn't be playing. 18 will in 9 days time, and they shouldn't be playing in the premiership. If you think Sunderland under MON will be fearing Ryan Taylor next week rather then Cisse or Ba then I must be watching a different game. If Taylor starts I expect him to be second best to whoever he's up against from the Sunderland side. It was a bit tongue in cheek mate, he scored a raker to beat them away, or have you already forgot that? Why would he be second best to whoever he is up against in the Sunderland squad when he hasn't been second best to a number of other players this season?

    Please elaborate chum.
