JT looks like he’s been hammering the lines on the bus

Show starts on SSN at 6pm, assuming these are filling til then

Didn’t we get linked with Quansah as part of any Gordon deal and the scousers were adamant he was some kind of ‘generational talent’ (Steve Parish TM) and wouldn’t be leaving them any time soon? Has he had that bad a season?
-
Not saying we will be in a title race, but if scousers lose three of their elite players and city get hit with a transfer embargo, both of which could very much happen, they’ll both likely enter next season either equal or worse to this season. Big gaps for Spurs and Mancs to close. Chelsea a basket case that could go either way and Arsenal perennial bottlers who desperately need to get their striker purchase right. There’s always hope!

Good read - sure we broke the not winning without Bruno duck in the recent streak tho - or was that a cup game?

I fear this post may come back to haunt us!

There’s a moment that pops up in the final win coverage a fair bit and it’s Fab on his own taking it all in and looking a bit overwhelmed by it all. My money says during some of that he’s casting his mind back to what he went through under this disgusting bag of spanners and can’t believe just how different things were and what they became. -
Briefly saw Rashford revert to norm there

This is exactly what I meant when I said it was more like a mosh pit at times. You’d struggle to know that was in a stadium without zooming in and seeing the red seats, none of which are in use. Absolutely incredible
-
Yup, my old man had to stand for three hours on the train from Wales (blame his latest wife) full of scousers with no seat in sight, straight to Wembley and then not a thought of sitting down for hours pre KO and through the match (thankfully back row so nobody behind us). Absolutely superhuman effort for someone turning 79 next month, not going to pretend I wasn’t a little concerned at times. We were club Wembley behind the goal and some sat first half but majority stood throughout. No cross words either way.

Feels like so much to unpack from the weekend. Having worked my way through this thread I'm filled with huge fucking gratitude having managed to get to the final with my old man. Number 1 on my bucket list and 2 years ago I thought it wasn't going to happen and was heartbroken. He dragged his (almost) 80 year old arse into Wembley for another go and we were both in tears by half time. Huge sympathies for those out there that didn't get that experience after all those years. And @TheGuv you and your old man will be at the next one, come hell or high water. Having now watched the game back many times (on my fourth time for full match as I type, alongside so many highlights, clips, etc), I will say that the mics are without a doubt muted throughout the game - our lot turned up massively, I've barely been able to speak since and there was barely a person sat down and we were in the slightly posher bit - half the time the lower bowl looked more like a mosh pit than a football stand. Finally, I had the realisation that my old man and I have seen us against Liverpool together three times over more than thirty years, and we've won every one of them. The Andy Cole hat-trick, the Pepe Reina / Jose Enrique game and now this. Not a shabby record at all. Let's have them in the FA Cup final next year.

Let’s hope that’s the version of the Wolves game from 4th season. That’s all I can hope

Hilariously bad game management here

Pope’s descent into becoming Splinter is happening shockingly fast. Just need to have a pic of him being walked into the distance by Trafford, Ruddy, Dubravka and Greek dude
-
Disagree. Think he’s been on a different wavelength and had wide players way off the pace. Pressing on his own half the time and trying to create alone… edit - and just saw the wink. Ffs
-
Didn’t everyone used to gather round Howe and take instruction and get amped up when Pope went down half way through the half in the past?
-
It’s what we should do but for some reason have become unable or unwilling to
-
This ref is abysmally bad
-
Our defence is so concerning
-
He’s already left hospital (pics and videos on twitter) so hopefully not too serious.
-
Chelsea are winning
-
You know, for all my complaints about the way we have been sloppy, the defence being slow, the ref being shit, and injuries and Gordon being a fucking shitter ahead of the final… nothing makes me more disillusioned and more likely to fuck off football than the fact I sat stone still as we scored a last minute winner because you know you can’t celebrate a last minute winner any more if there is any single point of potential contention. it’s fucking rubbish and is really ruining football for me.
-
This is fucking mental. Is that him out the final?

That’s miss of the season that
