  1. I'd sell/release:

Carr, Cacapa, Duff, Ameobi and Ramage.

Add Owen, Barton, Geremi, Viduka, Butt & possibly Emre.

This time 4 months ago Owen would have been on the list, but he's approaching the peak of his career so we must keep him. With Martins and Owen, I also see Viduka as a necessity, at least until January. I still have a lot of hope for Barton and Geremi as for Butt, I can't see him being a great loss. I wouldn't want to lose Emre.

  2. The way we are playing, I think we should be happy to pick up 11 points by the end of the season, which means we should stay up.

Nonetheless, Allardyce should never have been sacked.

So Big Sam plays s*** football, loses some games and should be given time? KK comes in and loses to Man Utd and Arsenal and should be shown the door?

    Have a word.

Home draws with Boro and Bolton? Do they not count? What about that miserable performance at Villa?

At least with Allardyce we were grinding out results, the football may not have been good at times but we had a team of determined players who wanted to win. You can't say the same about the side now.

  3. If we have not picked up 4 points in the next 4 games, Keegan must be sacked.

    What a good idea.

It's quite clear ''King Kev'' can't manage anymore, he's fucking past it, why can't people just accept this? He's been out of football for 3 years, and look at our team, we aren't European contenders anymore, we are a joke. Now, under Keegan, not Allardyce we are in a relegation battle. Since Keegan has been in charge we have conceded 13 goals in 5 league games! How is this acceptable? In the same amount of time we have scored a meager 3 goals.

We are now 6 points off the relegation zone, player morale is the lowest I've seen it in a very long time but the supporters need to wake up and see Keegan has lost it. Allardyce was doing things with this club, Keegan no longer has the ability to do so.

  4. I saw the 2-0 win against Genoa, the 0-1 win against Fiorentina as well as the 5-2 win over Napoli, and I have to say how impressed I am with this lad.

His ball control is impeccable and with Kaka as a mentor he can become one of the best footballers in the world. I can't wait to see this lad given a long-term partner, ideally Karim Benzema.

  5. Joao Moutinho.

I greatly admire this player, and I watch enough Portuguese football to honestly say he can be one of the greatest attacking midfielders in the world. His passing ability is excellent and he has so much vision. Although, I do see Anderson as superior, but he is worth about £20 million now. Moutinho would probably cost £10-15m.

  6. OK, now before you say, this is not an Arsenal forum, but in general

Would ANY "Personal Reasons" stop you from playing in the fa cup 5th round against Old Trafford, and it would be the first time you had played at Old Trafford!

Well thats why Sagna isnt playing tomorow, personally, i know that no "personal reason" would stop me from playing this match!

So, Personal Reasons in general, what do you think?

Maybe a family member has died, or his girlfriend/wife has just left him ...

Think about it. Mind, you are only 17.

  7. Some of our fans were singing 'youve never won f*** all' at you on Saturday. I pointed out that this was both gramatically AND factually highly suspect.

We had Everton fans singing the same thing at us at Goodison last season, which was most odd. Mind, there is probably a generation of fans who don't think anyone other than the big four have won owt.

Some of our supporters are fucking idiots, Villa have won the Champions League and 3 league cups in 30 years.

  8. I think some of you are missing the point. I remember watching that game and yes, it was dodgy as f***, but under Souey and Roeder (until the run-up to his sacking) we had the uncanny ability to grind out results like these, especially at home.

Under BS our 'impenetrable fortress' we used to be so proud of has become a shantytown leaking mud-hut.

And it's a massive task now for KK to muster the players into some form of action, as I have no idea what they'd been told to do by Allardyce; whatever it was, it definitely wasn't to grind out results to win even if we play like s***.

Whereas now we are playing shit and not getting decent results.

  9. I'll tell you why it went well.

Against Liverpool we went for the win, our players were 100% up for it and so were the home support, the players have looked like they simply don't give a s*** recently. We couldn't even score more than one goal in two home games, against Boro or Bolton.

Our midfield against Liverpool was far more effective than our current midfield. Parker and Dyer were two dedicated players who wanted to do well at the club. Parker was a great captain and as he and Butt sat back Dyer would go forward and support Oba properly. That 4-5-1 was looking decent under Roeder. Like I've already said, the players knew they could win that game, and went for it. N'Zogbia cuts in a lot and doesn't always work as a winger, Solano and Milner are wingers.

Even on paper our defence was not looking good that day but Bramble and Onyewu were immense in the air, much like Bramble was towards the end of the season. Taylor and Babayaro played well at right and left back respectively and Stevie Harper made some good saves.

Our team looked proud that day and I was proud of them.

I haven't been proud to be a Newcastle United supporter since the out of touch 'Messiah' took over.
