Sacking Allardyce could prove to be very expensive to this club.
-
Adebayor/Kenwyne Jones type player.
-
Keegan, or Allardyce?
-
The following are not playing today for us :
King, Woodgate, Dawson, Jenas, Lennon, Keane. Gilberto still not ready yet and Bale and Ekotto still out.
-
All Newcastle, but it's still 0-0.
-
No chance KK can make him better ?
Hardly worked under inspirational managers so far
Well he's not going to be an Albert is he?
-
We're doing well.
-
At least this guarantees a full-house.
You having a laugh? Already a guarenteed sell-out man.
I was being facetious.

At least this guarantees a full-house.

Article on SkySports as well:

33 in July, bought himself out of his contract with Besiktas. Another Senegalese defender, only with experience in the French League.

Isn't that around 100 grand a week ..?

Keegan is the past. He's past it in all senses.
He's had his time as a manager, and still managed to lose the league. Look at his record since he left us, shite and Fulham and ended his time at City in misery. He then stayed away from football for 3 years, that's how much his time at City got to him.
I can't believe Ashley hired him, stunning really.
-
No, just no. How desperate does he think we are?
-
Dean Ashton. He played for the reserves the other night, and he would be the perfect partner for Owen or Martins and a great player Carroll can learn from.
Must shed Viduka as well.
-
And what of Ashleys choice of bringing Keegan back?
Was he thinking tactical genius or was he thinking merchandise?
Money-spinning before he sells us off.
-
1 Given - Our best goalkeeper, should never be risked again when injured.
2 Carr - Out of contract. Release.
3 Jose Enrique - Why doesn't he play? Our only left-back
5 Emre - Very talented midfielder whose creative side must be encouraged.
6 Cacapa - Too old and frail to adapt to the Premiership, might as well go home to Brazil.
7 Barton - Needs to get all the legal proceedings behind him.
9 Martins - Our best striker and goal scorer, must get him fit.
10 Owen - A finisher, needs to get his pace back.
11 Duff - Terrible player, this injury ended his career in my opinion.
13 Harper - He's been good this season, still second choice.
14 N'Zogbia - Must play in left-midfield, if played at left-back he will go.
16 Milner - Still promising and probably out most effective winger.
17 Smith - Ashley obviously likes him a lot and so much, spent £6 million on him
20 Geremi - Should play at right/left back.
21 Beye - Doing well, I think he will adapt to the league.
22 Butt - 5th most effective tackler in the league, should start as sub to protect leads considering our awful second half performances.
23 Ameobi - Sell or if the worst happens, one of our strikers for the Championship?
25 Faye - Easily our best defensive player, has looked comfortable in defence and midfield.
26 Ramage - Out of contract. Release unless we go down.
27 Taylor - Still a promising centre-back, although he looks less promising every week at the moment.
36 Viduka - Past it, but still can prove his worth alongside Owen and Martins, in a 4-3-3.
39 Carroll - Another one of our strikers for the Championship? Scores goals in the reserves so should be ahead of Smith.
-
Where is Leigh Bromby on this list?!
I'm sorry, who?
Next year's best Premiership defender... after Shittu.
Where are they moving to in the summer?
Spurs obviously
Nah, we've already got the best central defensive partnership in the premier league with King and Woodgate.
Paul Merson said that on Sky tonight so it must be true.
............ or Merson was in the Green Room for too long before going on air.
Ferdinand and Vidic are the best centre-back partnership in the league.
-
If Keegan is willing to pay anything over £5m for a player of his caliber then to be honest, we are even more fucked than we already are.
-
Muntari isn't really an attacking or defensive midfielder, he's one of those great and valuable box to box players who is essentially comfortable across the midfield.
-
Even our reserves are shite.

My mate is a Bolton fan and is going to Lisbon for the upcoming UEFA cup tie. With their being no flights direct from Newcastle to Lisbon and with our lot traveling to Lisbon just recently, any help would be appreciated with regards to routes there. He's asked:
1- Did anyone fly to Faro and get to Lisbon that way and if yes, how difficult was it?
2- Did anyone take any imaginative routes that involved a connection somewhere?
Cheers in advance for any help.
Rub it in.
Good luck to Bolton though, they are doing really well in Europe.
-
I challenge Keegan to win a game.
-
Anderson hasn't done much this season, has he? He is for the future, obviously, but surely Tevez would be a better transfer?
He hasn't scored many goals, but he his passing ability and sight for a run are very impressive. I think he'll get even better by the end of the season, and a goal could take him to another level.
Relegation - will we or won't we? *NO FIXTURE LISTS PLEASE*

Today could be the day that we all look back on. We lose against Blackburn at home whilst Reading win at Boro and Birmingham beat the Carling Cup champions.
