  1. Krul will be first choice next season IMO.
  2. Darlow Anita Mbemba Clark Dummett Shelvey Hayden Ritchie Perez Gouffran Mitrovic Nervy 1-0 win.
  3. Leadbitter with a lovely Lascelles vs Leeds impersonation there.
  4. 1 shot on goal until injury time today wasn't it? Can understand a conservative approach away from home but that's fucking embarrassing. There'd be absolute hell on here if we played like that.
  5. That's my thoughts too. Aye, this is what I'm clinging to. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  6. Mbemba and Perez unlucky to be dropped like. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  7. 2-3. Brilliant goal from Kagawa.
  8. Obviously depends on your definition of 'very good', but off the top of my head: Brighton Reading Brentford Ipswich Birmingham Rotherham (second half more than the first admittedly) Can you name as many away games this season where we've been 'very good'?
  9. Worse teams than Leeds have come up here and beaten us this season. And we've beaten far better teams than Leeds this season. Far better teams? Really? I've watched every home game this season and based on what I've seen there's nothing to suggest I should be confident of beating Leeds on Friday, especially with some ofvourvrevent performances. I'll be delighted to be proved wrong here bit I can't see us winning this one. Brighton and Reading are both better sides than Leeds - we've beaten both at home.
  10. Does two consecutive games in centre-mid really constitute a run though? I thought he was decent against Burton FWIW, and I'd be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt given that so many others also went missing on Saturday. Was also good against Brighton and Huddersfield when Rafa moved him back.
  11. And if it gets to October and it doesn't look like Gayle is good enough to be a first choice? I know his goals per game ratio is good but it's different keeping that level up for 30 odd starts, than say 12 starts and 17 sub apps. Defoe would be ideal as a first choice or cover if Gayle is flying. I'd rather we spent good money on a younger first-team striker who can compete with Gayle but also bring a different skill-set to the table.
  12. Obviously rate Defoe but not sure I'd want him here. He's very similar in style to Gayle, who I'd like to see us persevere with next season.
  13. Dayum, that's the best line-up in a while. Slightly concerned that Hayden hasn't even made the bench though.
  14. Bloody Brighton man. So efficient against the lesser sides.
  15. He was one of our best players at the weekend like. Not as dominant as he was in the first half of the season but barely misplaced a pass and was still the one instigating the majority of our attacks.

Couldn't help but be reminded of this by this whole fiasco:
  17. City have been wank this second half.
  18. Odd performance from City. Look like they could score at will but took their foot right off the gas at 1-0. Suspect they'll do the same second half and Arsenal will nick a point.
  19. This game's been utter chaos for the last 10 mins or so
  20. His achievement was remarkable, I love the guy. But... there was no real pressure on him and he did have a core group of players that were very strong mentally. We lack leaders for example at current. Nolan would walk into our team btw, an underrated player for us in many ways and a great Captain. Half that team would walk into our current team IMO. I'd certainly have a good few of them ahead of the current crop. Also, transfer fees have changed massively since then. The going rate for a top Championship player today is 10m plus and the average Prem player 15m. Ritchie for example. Although I hink he is above average. If you are using points as a barometer btw then Hughton is better than KK? Routledge was one of the best wingers in the league at the time and we got him for, what, a couple of mill at most?
