So many. As I said in the other thread, the fact that he would take the time to get the entire squad to sign a calendar for 10 year old me along with the indivual signed picture that I got from Shearer just shows the measure of the man. On the pitch he gave me some of my greatest memories for those few years on the rare occasion I got to make the trip up to Newcastle with my Dad were filled with joy. Remember going to watch us beat Bayer Leverkusen 3-1 at SJP, and to beat Mallorca 4-1 in the Uefa. Those are the two that stick out for me under Bobby, as well as the ones that have been mentioned. The Feyenoord game, Inter away, Man U 4-3 at Home, Leeds 4-3 away, Arsenal 3-1, 1-0 away at Sunderland, the whole of his tenure especially The CL and Uefa Cup runs. Thank you for everything Sir Bobby.

Broken down in tears 3 or 4 times since I got home from work. I guess you can bottle up emotions as much as you want but eventually they're gonna come out. Going to see if I can get up to SJP this weekend to pay my respects.

Steve Harper just looks devestated.

He just told his dog to shut up barking Love Jackie Charlton, funny likeable bloke.

Always admired Jose. He is a classy person. Its a bit spur of the moment but in my state of mourning I have decided that I'm going to do the 2010 Great North Run in aid of Sir Bobby's foundation.

I think there should be some special tribute or charity event when Newcastle play Ipswich this year.
-
Not really bothered. This means so little to me after today's events.
-
Wish i was close enough to Newcastle to be able to do the same. Can't get over this, absolutely brilliant human being. Remember being over the moon as a 10yr old kid, my mam knew Carl Serrant who played for us at the time. I got a signed picture of Alan Shearer (which still rests on my unit in my room) and a calendar signed by Sir Bobby and the rest of the squad saying "best wishes from everyone at Newcastle United. A small gesture on the face of it, but it meant the world to me and just shows what a nice person Sir Bobby was that he took the time and got the whole squad to sign it for me.

Just gone numb reading this. R.I.P

Anything other than the scousers ftw. This.

I can understand that, just can't stand Liverpool. Hopefully Man City, Everton, Spurs and Villa all start challenging for some of the top 4 places.
-
Why is it a shame? The further they are away from the title the better.

Fucking hell. The standard of Journalism is appalling.
-
I think Ranger, Baheng and Lua Lua are the ones most likely.

I'll be optimistic and accept that something is going to happen next week. If I'm hit by crushing disappointment so be it.

See ya Oba! Some good times had. That goal at Tottenham will forever live in my memory.

Not bad considering everything.

My bad.

The weirdest thing about it is how it really wasn't that long ago. Aye mate, Newcastle V Leeds, around christmas time, maybe a bit of snow, and usually a mag victory. I miss those days. Read the f***ing rules, man! What a game. Top at christmas. Shit sorry, only meant to post it as a link.
