  1. I think ones such as Lua Lua, Ranger, Ferguson and hopefully Vuckic are the ones that will have a shot at breaking through. Its just whether the manager has the guts to give them a go. Kadar should get some time if Beye leaves.
  2. Looked superb against Huddersfield. Championship should be a good level for a lot of younger players.
  3. In my experience, although I am only 24 Leeds fans have always been horrible, disgusting wankers. Yet I can't remember any of our fans being anywhere like them in my lifetime. Agree about the racial issues though, as my dad said us and everywhere else had that attitude back then. Guess it depends on your experience, most Leeds fans I know are alright. One of the few postives about modern football is that we seem to have moved on from that attitude.
  4. Yeah. Newcastle had a similar reputation to Leeds once upon a time. My Dad remembers going to watch Newcastle play Huddersfield at Leeds Road and said all the two sets of fans did was fight. He also remembers seeing a black woman and her son racially abused by a bunch of Newcastle fans whilst crossing the road near a pub not far from the ground. Leeds fans may have been bad, but many clubs supporters were exactly the same.
  5. Couldnt disagree more. Having been attacked by the scum when i was 13 and going to a game with my dad and younger brother and seen countless incidents since of their 'fans' i have nothing but contempt for them. It has been the same with our fans in the past, no club can say they don't or haven't had the fair share of hooligans. I've been to Elland Road a few times and its been fine, only game I've been to with any trouble was last year was against Bradford in JPT when I went with a few mates because it was fairly cheap. Great atmosphere at Elland Road as well.
  6. Have nothing but respect for Leeds United and their fans. Cracking club, great supporters and a marvellous history. Its their owner I can't stand.
  7. Mum has relatives from Ashington, Grandad on my Dad's side is from Washington, which is technically closer to the Mackems but I didn't know that at the time. Dad also tells me that I'm distantly related to wor Jackie, its a dodgy link but he's deadly serious that its true.

Its more the fact that his son is wearing a Liverpool polo shirt that boils my blood.
  9. I disagree, there have been no signs of anyone going anywhere, and it seems as if a large percentage of the squad are determined to do well for the fans, they hate the current situation just as much as us I'm sure.
  10. Xisco: "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" only in Spanish and reallllly meek. NO PUEDE PASO!!!!
  11. Hopefully both and Man City and Everton finish above them. Having said that, seen as we're not in the Premiership I don't care as long as Liverpool don't win anything.
  12. Nolan broke through midfield and kind of chipped the keeper, somehow, bit of a howler from the keeper really. Soft goal.
  13. Had forgotten about that, all you can do is laugh. On a different note, Coloccini has found his level he was a beast :colo:
  14. Just got back, ok game. Defence looked good, still a lack of movement with some players. Lua Lua was awesome down the flank. Overall we played pretty well, but whoever combined with Ameobi to not score 2 on 1 with the keeper fucking hell
