  1. Cannot understand wanting Sunderland/a Sunderland player to do well, no matter who it's at the expense of (unless it's a 3rd party whose suffering would directly benefit NUFC). Fair enough with disliking Redknapp for those reasons, but putting that above wishing ill on Sunderland? It doesn't compute with me. Hope Spurs put 10 put the bastards and that Bent has a shocker.
  2. Currently on the BBC Football site (underneath the "Notts County owners 'demoralised'" story) there is an audio link to "Notts owners extremely angry - Trembling". I was disappointed to find out that James is not, after all, an owner of Notts County, and the audio had nothing whatsoever to do with the SBR testimonial...
  3. If Capello insists that he wants a big man with Rooney rather than Defoe, then Carlton Cole or Peter Crouch should definitely be above Heskey in the pecking order - the man is an embarrassment at international level.

  5. Pure speculation and no substance. Am I supposed to not comment on stuff unless I can back it up ? Is this a court of Law like ? What are you on ?? I already said I know nothing about this case, the only point I'm making is that FIFA and UEFA are two corrupt bodies who I trust to have the best interest of the game in mind as much as I trust a word that comes out of lamearse's mouth. As much as it's funny that Chelsea are getting screwed here, there is a bigger issue with this agenda against English clubs. FIFA may regret this because if Chelsea play it smart they could open up the whole transfer system, which legally is not a watertight system at all. Hardly think there's an institutional anti-English bias going on here seeing as Chelsea are the first English club these sanctions have ever been brought against, and the fact that Italy's AS Roma and Switzerland's FC Sion have been subject to/are currently appealing against similar embargos, respectively. (According to BBC Radio 5 Live for those facts, btw.)
  6. Totally agree. Can't see why people get so exercised about them, when there are plenty of other clubs that should be getting our hate before they step in-line.
  7. flash mob then. they're turning into tottenham. If hating the little piece of s*** who sang karaoke on the middle of the pitch when we went down is bandwagon jumping... well, then so be it. do you hate tottenham too? Yes. Less than Hull. why? Because of their delusions of grandeur. Because their manager is a grade A c***. Because they screwed up the career of one of my country's best players for no apparent reason. Fair enough for your other two reasons, but the bold one is bollocks. If Tottenham have delusions of grandeur then so do we: it's just another lazy media stereotype thrown out about two largely decent sets of fans by know-nothing hacks.

    MOTD

Notice that Brummie, Neil and 1878 are all conspicuous by their absence tonight. Always felt a large part of the reason they get tend to get a warm reception on here is because usually they have plenty of reason to feel good about their own club, so it's easier for them to come on here and be magnanimous about ours. Not a sniff from any of them tonight so far though...
  9. Why? Who gives a fuck now he's not our player any more, and the fact that he's not in our division means that even if he plays for Spurs against Liverpool it has NO effect on us in any way at all, even indirectly? Spurs have been quite clever the way they've gone about this whole thing, but it really doesn't affect us in the slightest so I can't see why people are getting bent out of shape about it.
  10. Nah, we should just sell him and buy a better player for the same or less money. It's easy, all the clubs do it that's all their squads are getting better and better every season how many better defenders will sign for us? Whoosh.
  11. Fair play to him, got good wages, a nice new experience, brings a bit more exposure to the league, kinda like Beckham to LA Galaxy, but on a lesser scale! And that was a daft move too. Campbell will simply join Beckham as another numpty if the Notts Co move is really happening.
  12. Aye because no one moans about more local players. It's the other way round, foreigners like Coloccini and Gutierrez don't get as much stick as Duff and Taylor despite being more useless.
  13. Colocinni evidently owes his football career to some powerful Mafia don, like Dr Taza does his medical career in The Godfather novel.
  14. Worse than Ramage, worse than Edgar, worse than Boumsong, worse than Bramble. He is quite literally the least competent defender I've ever seen playing for Newcastle United.
  15. Rampage equalises for QPR against Blackpool after fucking up a cross and it sailing straight in by mistake. Why could the useless fucker never mess things up with similar results for us?!
  16. I wish Martins had stayed with us purely for that We Fkn Love You Martins signature pic.
  17. SSN yellow ticker bar currently saying the deal is worth £8m...
  18. Messi. Yeah, just like Figo eh? http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/european/messi-rejects-real-transfer-rumours-1516207.html http://www.goal.com/en/news/1705/real-madrid/2009/01/25/1076996/messi-senior-my-son-will-never-join-real-madrid Back in your box. You must be the last person in the entire world that actually believes what a footballer says. He's said he could never do it to Barcelona because of what all they've done for him and his family, without Barcelona Messi wouldn't be anywhere near where he is today and he knows that. He'd never betray the club. Once again I have no doubt that right now Leo Messi has absolutely nothing on his mind other than Barcelona. But he's 22, he has another 13 years of professional football to play. He may have never even considered signing for Real Madrid, but 13 years is a long time and who knows what could happen in that time. Souness could take over tomorrow, try to put his own stamp on the team, out with Messi, Henry, Xavi and Iniesta, in with Mark Pembridge. Leo Messi can say what he wants right now, but things change. Could say the same about Real Madrid players joining Barcelona - how many footballers would turn down the chance to play in the Nou Camp as part of one of the greatest passing football teams the world has ever seen...?
  19. Good deal for both clubs, I think... unfortunately. Spurs will play better with someone like Crouch partnering Defoe and Keane than they will with Bent doing the same, and dirty Mackems will need a good finisher to make up for all the chances that Kenwyne Jones misses. Makes sense for both transfers. Ho hum.
  20. Good signing for you, like.
  21. Wonder if they bought the wrong Magpies? Coming to something when League 2 Notts County get taken over by Middle East money before us!!! Bill Kenwright is still "searching for investors 24/7". Honest. And how the hell does he hope to do that without a dedicated 'Potential Investors Hotline' e-mail address? :-[
