  1. You also said Nixon thought it was a good thing Carroll being out. He said nothing of the sort.
  2. Apparently that's a good thing with Nixon. Because we've got a 'good away record' - forgetting the fact that of the three wins and one draw we've got this season, Carroll scored the winner twice and got us the point at Wolves. You're hugely over-reacting to what Nixon said. I'm just trying to explain why people, understandably, are acting as if the game is already over. Because the only guy that seems to be scoring at the minute is not going to play - we don't score, we don't win. That's exactly the point though, it isn't understandable. I can understand people being negative because of it but to practically say there's no point in turning up is stupid. We're playing Wigan, not Man Utd. Nobody's saying that there's no point in turning up, practically or otherwise. You're the one who said 'people, understandably, are acting as if the game is already over' which is practically the same thing.

  5. to be fair he wasn't only on a train, he was with.......another man ! Oh shit, forgot about the other guy. He's as good as gone then.
  6. Andy Carroll sitting on a train = we're selling him. Cracking logic.

    Still not the right one.
  8. The stupid thing is, he'll probably be one of their lowest earners.

"older than yet inferior to Danny Welbeck" Fucking knackers. Quote of the year to be honest.
  11. he was. Thanks for being honest. 'Thick' never looks out of place under KD's username. Untrue. I'm pretty sure i have more qualifications than you and all your immediate family combined so your statement is false.

I like Gosling but Rodwell's a far better player than him.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

If he needs as much light training as Gosling did after his injury then we could catch a glimpse of HBA by October.

Did any of the Man City goals come down our right? As Dave said. He was nowhere to be seen for the first goal, no idea why he decided to wander up the field. As for the third, his positioning/backing off throughout the period that Man City had the ball around our box was terrible. The way he backs off worries the life out of me and I dread to think what Bale will do to him today. How on earth would he be at fault for the first goal? Krul shouldve had it booted into row Z removing any danger. Simpson has been more than good enough for us this season and was fine against City. Made some timely tackles and interceptions which prevented a few dangerous attacks. Where did I say he was at fault for the goal? It doesn't alter the fact that he was well out of position and contributed to compounding the error made by Krul.
  16. Lennon in for N'Zogbia for today only. Bale, Lennon and VdV © - expecting a big haul from these today!
  17. Some very nice prices to build up a little acca today. Man City, Spurs, Stoke, Arsenal (tomorrow) and Man Utd are all tempting. West Brom if people want to be risky too although I reckon they could blow Blackburn away at The Hawthorns.

    Players in public

Was sat in the box behind where I sit at the Man City game.
  19. I reckon he might be, just updated his facebook status: Harry Redknapp Lennon will struggle against Jose today LOL J/K Jose's injured. In fairness to José, it hardly matters letting people know he's injured. Although he's important to us, it isn't going to result in an opposing manager (in the unlikely situation he'd actually find out anyway) altering his team because of it. If he'd come out and said Carroll was injured then it would be a little different.
  20. Wilshere and Nasri. Still don't offer the consistency of Carroll though. Nasri hasn't been consistent this season? I honestly question if you actually watch football sometimes.

Simpson's getting far too much praise in my opinion. He was absolutely woeful against Man City.
