  1. I'd never play Barton on the left. He's our best crosser of a ball - I'd have him straight back in on the right. Most of those good crosses come from set-pieces. Not from him being on the RW. Some of his cross field passes make a massive difference as well. Routledge's pace gives us something which we badly need, yet I'm sure if you asked Andy Carroll who he'd rather have out there, he'd pick Barton every time. Barton's still on the pitch. We need to add an extra dimension as we're far too one-sided and team's know it. Ideally I'd like to see Barton, Jonas and Routledge on the pitch, especially at home. Why not go for that against WBA with Tiote in there too then? Seems a better option than putting Nolan in and dropping Jonas.
  2. Not missed today. Decent player and a good option to have on the bench when he's back.

Don't agree with that at all. He got Koscielny sent off due to his strength and did something very similar to Ivanovic today too.
  4. Just found out that Vidic went off after 63mins. Clean sheet.
  5. Fans must've been told it was called off, terrible organisation.
  6. Nah, they'd never do anything like that. http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20101127/club-confident-of-beating-weather_2281670_2231789
  7. He's only been charged as it stands, which he's denied. He hasn't actually been banned yet so there isn't anything to appeal. The charge is effectively the ban, which he can either accept or deny - which he has - running the possible risk of a 4 match ban. It doesn't work like that as far as I know. If they find him guilty tomorrow, he then has the option of appealing the ban handed out to him, which is when the ban can be extended.

  9. Is he denying it because he genuinely believes it or is it an opportunity to stagger the suspensions so that there will be one of the main CB's available for most of the coming matches? Still can't think that the FA will come up with anything other than a guilty verdict, the only question being would it be a 3 match ban or 4. Why would it be 4? if the fa deem it to be a "frivolous appeal" it can be increased to 4 though whats defined as frivolous only the fa know He hasn't appealed anything though. As is stands, there's nothing to appeal.

  11. Are you two looking at the picture upside down? It looks nothing like an 'M'.
  12. Agreed. He was excellent at Leeds, a joy to watch at times.
  13. Here we go... Not saying that I agree with playing Ferguson but you really seem to have an issue with playing any youngsters and I'm not sure why. I have issues against playing Vuckic and Ferguson, because they are far from the finished article and need consistent game time, out on loan at a Championship or League One club. Whilst the likes of Perch currently occupy a place on the bench, there's absolutely no reason why Vuckic shouldn't be on there.

Just driven alongside James Beattie on the way to Bolton. What a nutter.

Just noticed that the Man City game this coming Tuesday has now been moved to the training ground meaning no fans will be able to attend once again. I wish the club would cut this shit out.
  17. If he actually does make the England squad, I'll be awaiting my call-up too.
  18. BBC say he was booked in the Chelsea League Cup game. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/league_cup/9010051.stm

Rightly so too. Lazy, dear me.
  20. In a nutshell. When there's no space, we have absolutely no cutting edge. I noticed that there was a hell of a lot of space in front of Blackburn's back four on regular occasions but nobody even attempted to exploit it. Our movement is woeful which doesn't help either.
  21. Shame he didn't punch the diving cunt in the face.
