Looked okay after the fall, think he'll be fine.

The L15 was only for a bit of interest in the other races, still expect it to return something though. Main bet of the day is obviously Courage.
-
15 bets - 4 x singles, 6 x doubles, 4 x trebles and 1 x accumulator. So say two of the horses win, will I likely cover my stake at least, or lose some money? Well the first one just ran and threw Jamie Spencer off about a furlong in. So if you're going to do it, change the first selection to something else. If two win you should cover, aye.

Luckily I wasn't referring to the one that you're all backing.
-
Fuck off. That's bullshit.

Followed you on this. Will do some others during the day.

Go with whatever you feel comfortable with. It should win. When it comes to lesser known tracks like Beverley, when you see a trainer like Stoute sending a horse there and booking a jockey like Moore, the alarm bells start ringing Put it this way, I wouldn't want to be on any other horse knowing that combination is in the race.
-
Stoute doesn't send horses to Beverley for no reason either. Has over a 50% strike rate which is very good. Both of the horses he's sent to Bev in the last 12 months have won and with Moore on board, he's there to win.

Only just getting chance to look now, read yesterday that Courage was likely to be the one. Spencer has a few good chances. Will have a look now but like the look of your Lucky 15.

Think the leniency shout is considering the ref showed leniency to Tiote literally about 4 times when he could have been sent off, then gave your bench the nod to sub him as if it was a pre-season charity game. Anyway, nothing against you lads but I was delighted with shoving Pardew's words down his throat yesterday. Really can't stand the smarmy fucker and his twattish comments about us going back to some embarrassing stuff he came out with in his West Ham days. Did our team talk on Friday with his "another level" dig. At least from your perspective the result didn't matter for CL in the end anyway. Good support and was surprised a lot seemed to stay to clap our players on their lap of the pitch? Fair play for that like. I wouldn't do it. You used up your leniency card with Heitinga.
-
Not had a look at the card yet but read earlier that Ryan Moore is heading to Beverley tomorrow. He barely ever goes to Bev (six rides in the past five seasons) - in simple terms, he only goes there when he has a reason to. Think Jamie Spencer is there too so he's also one to watch. Will have a look at the card in the morning and see if anything makes appeal.
-
Agree on that but I'd prefer the squad to be filled out by younger players rather than ones getting on. I also think we might spend a bit of money on a decent striker too.
-
Have a think of how people get on Shola's back for the type of player he is, calling him lazy, etc. Now imagine that but even worse. Yakubu wouldn't last five minutes up here. One of our major problems is lack of movement which with the right formation being deployed, our front three will improve that/already have done in some games. Adding Yakubu into the mix to just stand around in the box won't help us one bit. He scores goals at Blackburn because they just hoof it up to him, he doesn't have to do anything and that's how he likes it. That's before we even get to his age and I doubt he'd be on a wage we'd be willing to pay either.
-
We don't know whether the charge includes the red card though. So it could either be 7 or 10. It doesn't. This is going to be a massive ban. 4 for the red yesterday, which should make it 5 for the next violent conduct charge and then (at least) 6 for the next one. Plus anything else they choose to add on.

Correct me if I'm wrong but is there a limit of £50 on this? Aye, just checked. Cheers. Just wanted to make Dinho aware of this before he puts hundreds on. I'm banned from using BetVictor so it's useless to me anyway!

Cut to 8/1 now, looks like a few have been getting on. Crazy price. Best price of 3/1 now. Howay Scholesy!
-
It is really annoying, especially when a price changes that drastically too. Just be glad it won anyway, rather than having this discussion over a loser.

How's it work? Assuming that because it was supposed to return £100 it should've originally been 6/4, and the odds were generally shortening everywhere, so how's it jumped up to 10/3? I assume the horse just drifted before the off. With guaranteed odds or best price as some call it, say you back a horse at 2/1 but it goes off at 5/1, you'd get paid out at 5/1 because it's better than what you backed it at. Seems like a big jump, do they guarantee that they'll have the best price anywhere before they go off or something? Strange considering the odds had come down from about 5/1 to evens for it to then drift back to higher than 3/1. Also, you can fuck off with your 'Rule #1', it was you who suggested SportingBet! They were the best price at the time! Plus I didn't know they didn't do guaranteed odds. I'd personally never back a horse on there unless it was right before the off, always go with guaranteed odds. Don't often see a big price discrepancy like that with a horse that's so short though. The majority of bookies do guaranteed odds now. I looked at the market for this horse earlier, it was very strange. It opened at 4s this morning then was the most backed horse of the day with the biggest percentage shift taking it into 5/4, then it seems absolutely nobody wanted anything to do with it before the off and it's drifted like a barge, going off nearer the price it opened at than its shortest price. Very odd. Probably the Irish fiddling again.
