They better give it to Rangel, or else Sky employees will have to look after their letterbox.

Well that's the beauty of forums, there's different opinions. Some people think they've done well today, some of us don't agree. At least most viewpoints on here are backed up with logic, whereas on RTG they just call you a kernt and use excessive block capitals.

£8.5m Cisse £4.5m Cabaye £5m Ben Arfa £5m Santon £12m Carroll and nowt for Marveaux and Ba. Possibly cheating but it made the list look more impressive!
-
If we get Carroll back for £12m, the original £35m will have bought us Cisse, Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Marveaux, Ba, Santon and Carroll himself.
-
They've just spent the thick end of £25m in a single day. What were you expecting? Can you imagine this place if we spent a similar amount in 1 day? Well if we spent £25m it'd be on 5 or 6 world class players, probably
-
Lambert in for Petric, these fixtures aren't kind to my squad. Going to take a 4pt hit next week, probably.
-
They'll still finish bottom half, imo.

Jonas has a very important role for us, a role that Johnson definitely wouldn't have. He has a great work ethic, is a good dribbler and helps out the defence. I'd always pick him over Johnson.
-
Imagine tomorrow when they might overtake us. Pandemonium.

You have to consider the club signing him. It can be an excellent signing without thinking the player is world class. True, although for £30m they've only improved slightly. Larsson/McClean weren't the problem for them, it was their central midfielders, attackers and lack of good full backs.

Surprised that so many think it's such a good deal. He had a great half season in the Championship and been living off the hype ever since. His attitude seems a little....off.
-
Can definitely see us getting either Douglas or Carroll. The other one - the one we need the most - I'm starting to worry about.
-
Now that we have Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Tiote and Cisse playing for us, I don't fear anyone anymore. When we want to, we can beat any team, anywhere as proved by our win at Stamford Bridge. Bring it on.

Johnson is an ok player that's been exaggerated by hype. At Boro, he was a squad player until they got relegated and he had a brilliant half a season in the Championship. Then he joined Man City and has been a squad player again. He'll occasionally play against lower sides and do well but he's surrounded by world class players so of course he will. He's also never shone for England, as shown by his omission from the Euro 2012 squad. I just don't think he's a player that a mid-table club should pin their hopes on.
-
Firstly, I don't think Johnson would be a great signing. Secondly, he'll still have other clubs sniffing around. Thirdly, if (and it's looking unlikely) they sell Sessegnon then these two signings only cancel that out.
-
Not using wildcard yet but just experimented with a new team and it looks brilliant. Feel guilty for doing this after his haul last week but I might bring in Ricky Lambert for Petric.

Cissokho joins Valencia, Van der Wiel turns us down - maybe this will push us into buying you know who.

Chelsea could be top of the table on Saturday night having played three and won three, and I think they will continue their winning start to the season. Chances against Chelsea A lot has been said about Eden Hazard's performances already, but Oscar is still to come in for his first start, and the key to more success for Chelsea this season will be those two plus Juan Mata, who will be the trio playing behind Fernando Torres when they all get up and running. The service for Torres will be vital, as will his finishing ability of course. But I still think Chelsea need another striker because, if Torres is injured, they only really have Daniel Sturridge as a back-up, and for me he still has a lot to prove. Newcastle got over the line last week against Tottenham, winning a game they might have lost 18 months ago. We know what the Magpies have got - real potent attacking prowess - but I just think Chelsea have got the bit between their teeth at the moment. Whatever happens at Stamford Bridge, I believe Newcastle are in the race for the Champions League places, though, because they have got so much firepower. Prediction: 2-0

Moses, Diame and Rodallega gone. They were pretty much all they had.
-
Spurs fans: is Adebayor going straight into the starting XI? Dunno if he's match-fit.... I need to fit Kagawa in somehow but dont want to take out Yaya or Cabaye
-
He must idolise Lukaku, Wright-Phillips, Parker, Sidwell and Adam Johnson.
-
Calling him a headless chicken is a huge insult to chickens. He makes Ali Dia look legitimate. Needless to say, he's not a good player.
-
His free kick efficiency is frightening. Cant believe how many go in.
