How to con a penalty <=== CLICK THERE A bitter Jack. All i can say is that if any team in the Championship cheats look at the puberty stadium. Last season Mr Gomez got numerous players booked with his pathetic antics. Scotland was pretty good at falling over too. Those 2 have left and your rotting at the lower end of the league where you belong. Get over the fact that Cardiff are a bigger and better club. Next you'll be saying Sunderland are bigger than Newcastle. Swansea will always be behind Cardiff in the same way that Sunderland will always be lesser than Newcastle. Swansea is a smack ravaged flea pit concrete jungle. Cardiff is a cosmopolitan City with a rich array of culture and history. Swansea's only pride is their hatred of Cardiff. In the same way Mackem land is a smack ravaged flea pit concrete jungle. Newcastle is a cosmopolitan City with a rich array of culture and history. Sunderland's only pride is their hatred of Newcastle. Not sure if a Swansea Cardiff slanging match is really needed on this board. I just find it a pity that fans cannot get along together, rivelry is one thing but the other stuff is not really needed. Some of the 'older' supporters remember the days when people would alternate between cardiff and Swansea, depending which was at home. They supported one of the teams but did not mind going to support the other side when their team was away. More profit to to both teams so made sense. The comment I made about penalties was because Cardiff get more than their fair share and Newcastle are playing Cardiff, if Newcastle was playing Palace (for example) and they had that reputation, I would have mentioned that as well in that games thread.

Every team in this league, with the exception of WBA and Boro, is essentially nine cloggers and two flair players. And the flair players are often fairly s***. You've not heard of Swansea City then.... good.. 19th placed Swansea? You might have loads of flair players but it clearly isn't working out, not yet at least. We've had a lot of disruptions with the manager up and leaving and taking the entire backroom staff (down to the physio, scout and tea lady). We have an unprecedented injury list and the sending's off didn't help (3 against Scunny). We managed to sign a couple of players recently and with a few of the walking wounded staring to train, hopefully we will settle soon and rise up the table. Back to Cardiff ... Stuff them

Cardiff get a lot of penalties, not sure if they drop like flies in the box or good at conning the ref. Against us last season they had one of the softest penalties given I've seen for awhile, in the closing stages when we were winning 2-1, felt robbed. I quite often see people saying how Scotland scored mainly penalties for Swansea, when in fact out of the 27/28 or so goals last season he scored 6 penalties. MaCormack (sp) on the other hand is closer to 50%, due to the above. They don't have a 'first scorer' or 'time of first goal' contest there, its 'time of 1st penalty'

This thread is close to what I wanted. Q for Dave first, any idea why I do not get the ability to start a new thread? I only see 'Mark Read; and 'Notify' as options. Swansea have appointed Lil Fuccillo as chief scout and its said he held the same position at Newcastle. Can't see us persuading your chief scout to come across to us in the same position. Was he chief scout?

I've been in Canada too long and no, there's absolutely no-where in Saskatoon

There's the Barley Mow on Duke Street, just off Oxford Street close to Bond Street tube station, 0n the corner with George Yard. Run by Newcastle fans and full of toon on match days.

Swansea City IF we can find a scorer to replace Scotland

Take that Martinez aka judas

Leicester 0 Swansea 1 half time. If it stays like this then I'll be happy at least.

ex-player and hero took over as temporary manager towards the end of last season, never managed to change the slump then they appointed him full time at the end of the season... hmmmm, sounds almost familiar.

RIP gentleman and legend.

and we haven't won a thing since. You're the curse! It's something that I've thought of more than once, I've often thought 'why couldn't I have supported Manchester sodding United'

Who's saying it would be easily made up? If we go into administration we've got no choice but to bite the bullet. Agree, its the posters who want admin now to get rid of Ashley my post was for. I'm still praying someone with integrity and at least some knowledge of running a football club rides in on a white horse and saves the club. Then again I'm delusional too.
-
A 10 point defecit would not be easily made up, Leeds did well with their 27 points a few years back, but that was League 1. Anyone who thinks a 10 point deduction would be anything but a prelude to a relegation battle is in my mind delutional.

Forest seem to spend their time buying strikers when their defence needs sorting.

1969, I just started to get into football and being taken to see the Swans with a mate by his dad. But in school everyone had their favoutrite 1st division team and hardly anyone supported our local team (well we were just outside Swansea). Most supported the likes of Liverpool, Leeds, Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City, etc. But I just liked the name 'Newcastle', plus they played in black and white just like the Swans. It didn't harm that they hade just won the Fairs Cup as well. So when all the chat came to Match of the Day, I just backed the corner of Newcastle and have done ever since. Swansea's still my first team mind Being relegated means I don't get to see any games where I'm not impartial out here in the wastelands of Canada, where I now live.

I assumed that this thread was about looking at rivals trabsfers, yet no mention of the Championship transfers! Is this because its a black hole, a bit of the unknown?

Can anyone explain this to me please? I still don't understand why he'd prefer to take the relative pennies on offer from administration over the £60m (or whatever) offered by Shepherd. because it would be a tax loss, thus he could make up more than 60M by having his overall tax bill reduced. Thats the way I read it in any case.
