  1. Spot on. I actually wouldn't mind seeing the N word blocked out with a bunch of asterisks up on the banner. Get fucked Mike Ashley and Alan Pardew. Get fucked a thousand times over.
  2. He's been fine IMO, but I would still rather have Barkley in his place. Already twice the player Sterling is.
  3. Hart complete fucking twat there. Good game this. Henderson has been England's best player IMO along with Sterling. But the mackem bastid has moved things along really well in midfield, and his off-the ball movement has been fantastic. Gerard has been near woeful. Johnson not been his usual shit self. Two very good goals. Very enjoyable.
  4. wat. It just used to be a number on the back didn't it? Not that long ago either When did you last watch international football? Wey I'm sure England even at the last world cup just had a red number on the back?! Modern football No they didn't
  5. David Pleat has massacred Barzagli's name. So far he's been Barzagli, Barzaglo, Barzegla, Barzaglaine, Barzaglio, The Experienced Italian Centerback, etc....
  6. Having the managerial experience he has got is nothing to be scoffed at. I'm rooting for Woy here.
  7. I'm finding a lot of time and respect for Hodgson's attitude so far. He's pretty much picked the right team, and I hope the players play for him. One thing I do not like is England's body language in the tunnel. Gerard glancing at Pirlo every few seconds. Shitting his bottling tidy-whiteys. Hope i'm wrong.
  8. Love all of today's fixtures. Colombia vs Greece and Ivory Coast vs Japan are the quintessential type of world cup fixtures. Finding myself thoroughly enjoying this tournament, much more than any other as far as I can remember (probably since USA 94). It's been beautiful so far.
  9. Keys: Balotelli. Enigma. Bags of talent, but you never know what he'll do next. Would you work with him? Souness' answer: No. Class players are consistent. Balotelli doesn't give me any consistency. Prefer if he had less talent but more consistency. Run around a lot etc..etc.. yada yada Keegan's answer: Yes
  10. GET. THE FUCK. IN!!! What a goal, and what a performance by CR. Absolutely superb. Puts paid to all the bollocks hype the elite superstars get. Teams coming to this world cup with any sense of self-entitlement will hopefully leave with several new assholes torn. This world cup has the chance to save football, in more ways than one. Falling in love with the game again.
  11. It'll be like a painter's radio now. hopefully not Kilbane's paint ffs.
  12. Her waist is indeed beautiful but fuck me her face is on a whole other level. Makes me want to cry :'(
  13. Excellent call by the ref. Shame this quality of refereeing isn't available for opening matches involving host nations.
  14. Who plays on the left for Italy? As in, who will that knacker Johnson most likely come up against? Chiellini might cover as left back with de rossi dropping back as a sweeper. I meant in Italy's attack. Who will Johnson be defending against?

  16. If in place of Welbeck then it's probably good news.
  17. 3-0 against a team which have no interest in anything but spoiling in the first game without some key players is pretty good IMO. How the hell were the greeks only interested in spoiling the game? You must have missed all the chances/half chances they had? The score flatters Colombia imo. They haven't been THAT good. I guess I was expecting a lot more from their football. Guess I'd also have to keep in mind that it was a 1pm kickoff in searing heat. My point still stands though. Greece could have got a result if they had more quality in midfield, as Colombia took their foot off the gas completely after scoring the first goal. You're also underestimating how little performances mean at this stage, winning is all that matters and they comfortably beat a team which doesn't lose all that often without really getting out of second gear. Think you're being harsh personally, they did what they had to do without some key players and without having to reach their top level. I completely understand that idea, had this been a meeting between two sides with a massive gulf in quality between them. This wasn't Brazil vs North Korea for example. After scoring the first goal, Colombia sat back. Greece could have (and should have) equalized within seconds. That still didn't wake the Colombians up. They were pedestrian for large parts of the match and the Greeks were getting closer. You can't tell me they just "predicted" they'd win this easily. At 1-0, it was by no means over. Not even at 2-0. I simply disagreed with their lack of urgency, as the gulf in class between the two wasn't THAT big.
  18. 3-0 against a team which have no interest in anything but spoiling in the first game without some key players is pretty good IMO. I sort of agree with him though. Columbia have some nice football over two thirds of the pitch, but they don't look so incisive when they reach the opposition penalty area. No man. Just look at the scoreline and ignore the actual football that took place. Colombia were f***ing ace man. Ignore the fact that the Greek keeper hardly had to make a save or that they didn't really know what to do once they got in good positions. It's sacrilege going against the grain on here Stop it, Colombia opened up with 3-0 and had excellent spells throughout the game. They didn't have to impose themselves since Greece didn't do much and only really had one dangerous chance each half. Your original post is s***, I don't necessarily agree with Mole, but I thought Colombia were very good especially considering it was without Guarin who's a vital part of that midfield. The World Cup is really getting to your head isn't it? You feel like a GOD amongst men don't you? Enjoy it while it lasts mate. Your posts are all top notch Also, in case you do read, the point I disagree with is this "didn't have to impose themselves" bollocks. The Greeks are limited but they're no mugs. If they had attacked with a bit more conviction (and had the right personnel on as they did when Mitroglu and Fetfatzidis came on) then Colombia would not have been as comfortable. Nah it's post like yours with the I don't believe the hype after one game that does my head in. Colombia looked very comfortable IMO. I apologize for not changing my opinion because you told me to. We'll have to agree to disagree.
