i think the main problem of how nufc plays come from the Four back who are so predictable, how many times williamson gives the ball back to harper ...long ball...lose the ball.

We need them to play forward and try to find directly the midfield, cabaye, tiote or direct ben arfa.

remember when harper found directly ben arfa during the norwich game, he was one on one, dribble his opponent and then made the assist for ba.

With defenders who don't know how to play simple pass and just send long balls, you can't do anything.

When they make a pass, it's for the right or left back who can't do anything and play long ball too.

Technical players at the back is so important nowadays to have fluidity in the game, ben arfa , cabaye or cissé are useless if we don't play a technical football.

This guy can have the world at his feet if it weren't for his outrageously limited brain and decision making. Whatever he has in his locker in terms of pace, skill and technique is rendered moot by his shockingly woeful timing and decisions. I keep thinking this is something that can be coached into him with time, but whenever he looks like improving a tiny little bit, he goes and puts in a cameo like the one we saw yesterday.

Can't believe someone like Amalfitano who has shown desire and application every time he's played for us can't get 10 minutes ahead of Obertan in yesterday's scenario.

Not much hope for him now imo.

Starting to feel a bit guilty for hating LFC as much as I do. Most of my good friends are supporters, and I've had to endure years of shit from them for supporting Newcastle. I have really enjoyed seeing them spiral out of control during the last few years, but even I must admit, shit as they are, they have been unlucky in the main.

They didn't dominate Man Utd as much as they think they did, and still barely created any real openings. They were still good value for a point however, and I think now that they have been screwed out of it by a poor penalty decision.

I want to laugh at them for being shit, and not for being fucked over by refs. I think a re-match is in order.

We shouldn't give up on him yet imo. We got him for nowt, and he hasn't really had a proper run in the side up until this season. We need the bodies, and I like that he has the opportunity to play in the Europa and Cup games which gives him objectives and milestones to achieve.

He looked much much improved against Maritimo, even in terms of his mobility and control. No reason to stall his progress now. He seems like a good professional, and I can;t imagine he's on a wage that is incongruent with his contribution. Keep.

Boils down to who scores first. If we manage it I'm fairly confident we'll win it.

Still not overly impressed by Gosling.

Me neither, but I thought this was his best game for us in terms of having a bit of control in the midfield. I guess having Bigi next to him helped. Gosling was a bit more on top of things this time around, and he still makes those excellent late runs into the box.
