This game is made for Adam Campbell. Needs to come on for Obertan.

According to the pundits on Al Jazeera sport at HT (Dalglish, Curbishly and some other knacker), Liverpool are the clear favorites to lift this trophy
Depends how good the security is around it.

Is the music for real?
Club anthem! Ahahahahahaha
Fuck me someone shut that cunt up
-
For me Vuckic needs to up his game tenfold if he wants to stay on. He's been really bad imo.

Elliot ... Brilliant hope this kick starts his toon career .. Harper isnt up to it anymore
Perch ... Solid though not spectacular
Williamson ... f***ing s***
Saylor ... Solid though not spectacular
Santon .. Playing well .. good gong forward
Obertan .. needs to get involved a little more.. though not bad
Gosling .. Good shot though anonymous for remainder of half
Bigirimana.. Quality, knocks the balll around well and has won cnountless tackles
Amalfitano .. See Obertan
Vuckic... Playing well with some nice touches
Ameobi .. Certainly a presence .. but more strolla tonight than the Big Sho
I must be watching a totally different game to you

I would honestly give Campbell a couple of minutes up top with Shola. Need someone to pick up his flick ons and make some clever runs. Vuckic is too high up and immobile.
Too deep surely you mean?

Liverpool score.
Yay for you

Expert dive by Lampard there.

Some overreactions to the squad strength in here, but not all of it unjustified. The main worry for me is in central midfield. I can only hope that we play a midfield 3 of Perch, Bigirimana and Abeid. I also wouldn't like to see Taylor risked at all, but I suppose we have no one else. Rather Anita didn't play either.
Like to see the following line up:
Harper
Tavernier Williamson Taylor Santon
Bigirimana Perch
Abeid
Obertan Marveaux
Ameobi

It's our first game in the group, it's away from home, we have a thin squad and a few key injuries. Would be absolutely stupid to risk other key players in this particular game. Steven Taylor for example shouldn't play.
-
Proper footballer this guy. You can see he's still new to the league. Got no problems with his progress whatsoever.
-
Everton were clearly unlucky in the game but luck is what it is. They opened the scoring last season at home with a massive deflection & were lucky in the first place that half our defence got crocked directly before this match. So yes unlucky in the game, just as we were outside of that.
Luck = Opportunity plus preparation. I don't think Everton were unlucky. I reckon we were lucky though, if that makes any sense. We made our luck when we decided to turn up and took advantage of our chances pretty well.

My love for this lad has grown 100 fold in the past year. He's been outstanding in nearly every game he's played for us in that time. The only time I remember him below par was at Carrow Road. He's an absolute beast in midfield, and he tries to do a bit of everything. He tackles, passes and drives forward. Love for him to score a long range missile soon.
-
That was Anita's fault if I'm thinking of the right one. Perch played it to him unmarked and then Anita played it straight back to him first time when he had a man on him.
Yup, agree with this. Anita's pass back to him was stupid.
Hhhmmm, it was back to Perch's feet, he got himself a little tangled with the ball, bit harsh to blame Anita for that pass.
Pretty sure you could see in the replays that he had an eye on Jelavic who was on the ground injured, and was wondering if he should put the ball out.

The thing that annoys is people say it like Ba was solely playing on the left for that period. That simply wasn't the case.
He and Cisse swapped roles many times during games, just Cisse took his chances whereas Ba didn't.
If Ba had scored regularly during that period that penalty at home to the mackems this wouldn't be the issue that it has become.

Didn't watch 2nd half, sounded like it was quite decent.
Very happy with a point after watching the 1st half.
We were excellent 2nd half, even if they arguably deserved 2 extra goals due to bad decisions. Played a mix of hoofball and decent stuff. Worth watching properly.
Where did you go after the first half like?
To bed, it was 4am here and I needed to be up at 8.
I understand there are priorities in life, but fuck me, I'd never be able to do that. Not because I'm some sort of special snowflake supafan...i just wouldn't be able to fall asleep not knowing the score.
-
Seconded. Looked so clumsy first half, but totally turned it around in the 2nd. He's blood and bastard thunder and endures so much physically for the cause. Worthy captain in Colo's absence.
-
IMO there are no issues with Ba and Cisse playing up front together. The problem is in creating chances for them. Once Pardew has figured that out, we'll be an even bigger force. It boils down to where Ben Arfa and Cabaye play, as they are clearly our most creative players. In order for Ben Arfa to play in the number 10 position, we needed an attacking RB to go with Santon on the left. That is why signing a player like Debuchy was so important to us. Mind you with Anita now at RB things look 10X better.
Krul
Anita Taylor Coloccini Santon
Jonas Tiote
Cabaye
Ben Arfa
Ba Cisse
The forwards can make runs into the channels, the attacking midfielders can also roam, alternating in going wide, central or arriving late in the box. We can counter using our fullbacks. Jonas and Tiote will press and harry and protect. It's worth giving it a go, as if we can get both our number 9 and 19 scoring freely, we'd seriously challenge the top 4.
-
also not enough love for shola's defence splitting pass for HBA's chance
Aye, that was brilliant. Ben Arfa should've buried it.
would have put me so close to trousering £475 in profit if he had
FCB

Moyes says they have themselves to blame for not winning it. Well said.
First half they pretty much grabbed us, got the chloroform covered cloth over our nose, dragged us into a nearby bush, covered their tracks then instead just sat there and had a w***.

Great finish from Ba on the 2nd tbh.
Instinctive

Absolutely unbelievable 2nd half. Gave myself a heart attack almost when Ba scored. Fuck Goodison and fuck Everton. Except Neil. Feel for him tbh.
