Why is that so hilarious? We already to know that signings aren't made by Pardew alone, but more of a team between Carr, Pards and Derek. Exactly! Therefore I find it "hilarious" that people are now jumping to a conclusion whereby Pardew is being undermined.

The first one he took soon after coming on was quite good tbh. Was cleared for a corner iirc.

First impressions on this lad? It was a tiny cameo, but he looked quite sharp and seemed to like to move the ball about. Put in a couple of tackles, and generally looked to have more physical presence about him than I anticipated. Took a couple of decent set pieces as well. Think he may feature a bit more this season than the likes of Abeid and Vuckic did last season.

Chemnitz were a right bunch of pussies for a team that plays in the lower divisions. At first I didn't mind the ref giving them every decision, but despite it being our first game back, it started grinding on my nuts when they continued to fall and flail all over the place any time an NUFC player came near them. And their crowd was dross. Was expecting a colourful summer atmosphere, and it was nothing like that.
