  1. He was a bit better today but he plays in an anonymous midfield with Lallana and Henderson. Both are inferior players and are as invisible as he is. Liverpool's defence was very good today otherwise they would have been spanked.

  2. Rafa is taking the p*ss out of us all. Absolutely taking the p*ss. Just f*** off.

I dont know why everyone is so negative towards this bloke. After all after the portsmouth game you were all licking his arse stating how much of a good job he has done etc etc etc. Now after a poor xmas period (which we never f***ing do well in anyway) you want him out. From reading this forum for a while everytime we go through a bad patch the majority of regular posters want the manager out. Joe Kinnear has done a decent job considering the state that the club is in. Had we won those tight games in which we drew we would be level on points with Wigan who by all accounts are having a great season.

What we need is a little bit of stability and if Kinnear is going to give us a few seasons of mid table consolodation while putting in place a quality scouting network and continue to develop our academy then so be it.

The last thing we need is to get rid of him and bring in another high paid so called savoiur only to be in the same position. The problems we have are not going be fixed by changing the manager, its much deeper than that. If it wasnt for Kinnear lets face it we would probably be bottom of the league right now, but with Kinnear we are in 11th position.

The problem with this forum is that the majority of posters only know Newcastle United from KK first reign in charge and therefore havent seen or experienced the dark days of the eighties and early ninety's where we were really s***. I am not saying this position that the club finds itself in is acceptable but it could be a lot worse....look at Leeds United.

Kinnear done miracles at Wimbledon, give him a chance to change us around..... we may be suprised

:spit: what the fuck is that

  3. Pardew said in October 2015: "We're very fortunate to be able to finance that deal. It was a deal that knocked us out of kilter and the board worried about that.

"But I assured them that there's no player that can knock on my door and say, 'I want the same money as Cabaye'.

"If you increase the wage structure because someone has come in and they don't deliver, then you have got a problem.

"But they can all come and knock on my door and ask for more money, saying 'I want Yohan's money', and they'll get a simple answer: 'You're not as good as him'."

Played a blinder with hatem ben arfa.

 Christ. How did I miss such man-managing gold like this at the time?

  4. They're so angry because they are now realising it is all true and it is burning them on the inside. Feel for them really

Wat? Hope they go down with him that no-mark shitstain of a club.

  5. Our stats with him out of the team under Rafa tell their own story. Bye.

    Got them to hand?

Nope. But we've won all 3 matches he didn't play in this season, and were unbeaten while he was out injured at the tail end of last season. All off the top of my head. The only positive result he contributed to was Spurs on the final day.

  6. “I know what to do so I’ll try to be like Ronaldo or Messi and score 50 or 60 goals.

If I have to I will die on the pitch for Newcastle.”

    Mad buggar.

I wish players wouldn't say things like that tbh. 99.99% of them never live up to it. One instance of him not tracking back or pressing his man, and we'll be all over him for not trying.

  7. He's not a bad player - but an invisible one.  I was of the belief he's not influential enough to play consistently for a top 4 team and I still am. If he can get some more consistency - even in just goals + assists he might prove to be a success.

They first need to allow him to get forward more, to end up in scoring positions. Also, they've got so many stepover tippy tappy bollocks wankers in that side all trying to do it on their own, that he hardly ever touches the ball in dangerous positions.

  8. Risked it and put Lamela as captain. Hoping for Spurs to thump Pardews boys!

My midfield is looking very good: Lamela, Coutinho, Martial, Hazard with Redmond on the bench. Hopefully I can keep it similar all season, swapping one for the likes of Eriksen/Lallana/De Bruyne/Mahrez when fixtures are good or injuries creep in.

Took a hit on strikers to have all them, though.

    Done exactly that as well.

  9. Even if he stays, we still need a genuine winger.

His best games have come counter-attacking where there is space to run into. When we have to break teams down he has usually been totally ineffective because he isn't a natural winger.

Did alright for France in the final when they weren't really on the counter. He's good when he's arsed.

The way I see it, sod the 30m we would get for him (8.5m for tubesock) if he stays and puts in the work required to help take us back up. And then he can f*** off all he likes.

  10. The cult of personality that surrounds Joe Hart from some of the media is baffling like. Especially compared to the way that they've hung past England goalkeepers out to dry.

Aye, they make out like he's head and shoulders above the rest.

  11. Munir and Samper off to Valencia with Barca retaining a buy-back clause on both players. Diego Alves and Alcacer going the other way on permanent deals. Utterly s*** for Valencia.

What the fuck is this shit?

  12. Already a few mackems on facebook posting about hoping for a mediocre season. f*** me, is that the state of NE football these days, over the moon with 14th?

When things like this get said, it begs the question; would you applaud the mackems if they suddenly turned good and were finishing top 8 with an entertaining side and a likeable manager? Genuine question.

  13. People say the best time to use triple captain is a double game week, but surely the best time to use your bench boost is then?

The chances of four players (give or take as they might not all be playing twice) scoring more than your captain x3 must be higher probability?

There's usually more than 1 double gameweek in a season.
