  1. Just read that article...Couldn't resist.

    Not for the faint hearted.......

When I went to Newcastle we were starting on the wrong foot. I wasn't the popular choice and whenever there was a wobble, the fans reverted to that position

My 'end game' at Newcastle was when we beat Manchester United 3-0 at home. We had a fast mixture of manoeuvring the ball quickly, dangerous set-plays, discipline and power. Now you can say, of course, there wasn't enough of that, but that was what we were aiming for.

It makes my blood boil when pundits on TV, such as Alan Shearer, say 'I'll do it'. He was a top, top striker but he has no coaching qualifications and his only experience as a manager was very brief — when he took Newcastle down into the Championship.

What experience does he have of putting on a session, of building an identity, when every session needs to be about building, creating that identity and taking the players with you?

    What an imbecile

  2. If Pardew is seen by Townsend a most of the media inexplicably see him (good, solid manager) then you can see why Townsend might have had his head turned, easy route to the premier league, arguably more chance to show his stuff to get a permanent England spot and if he has a good season someone in the top half might come in for him anyway.

From his point of view it makes sense, we were just daft enough to believe he had some affinity for us and Rafa for plucking him from the obscurity of the Spurs reserves and getting his career back on track, could have given us till Jan.

Can see both sides really, but that's the way of football these days, no loyalty at all.

As if anyone really gives a shit about that anymore. Evidence this summer once again suggests that players just can't be arsed.

  3. If that c*** starts releasing singles on the chart like that mess from Wigan, I certainly will be.

    Sick of this now.

I'm not just saying this, I'd be absolutely raging if I was you mate. I can't handle that sort of s***. There was this kid in A Level Geography who used to repeat mine and my mates jokes but louder so he could get the laughs and pretty quickly my A Level in Geography became an AS Level Geography because I dropped it.

  4. I'm willing to bet my life that the entire England squad was praised and told "well played son, unlucky son" last night after exiting the tournament at the hand of minnows. Can't see the likes of Conte or Low or even Del Bosque being that blasé about it all.

  5. When I think about you, I touch Matz Sels.

Oh, I see this has been stolen already

 People are quick if you don't copyright it. ;)

    Who's this c***?

That's smoggie is it not?

  6. I'm so glad it happened, because of pricks that say you can't play a 442 anymore.

It's a stone age tactic etc etc.

442 if you have the right players can be great.

The biggest issue about using wide players today is they simply are not wide players, they are just quick lads with a bit of technical abilities that like to cut in. Nobody crosses balls like Stuart Ripley repeatedly did for Shearer, Beckham did for Utd, even Keith Gillespie had a nice cross. This is why today you see so many isolated strikers.

And most teams in this tournament have opted for using these converted winger types as strikers which has shown us the lack of goals in games.

The lack of a 4-4-2 has not been an issue.  It's been misusing players, having no shape as a team and shoehorning players into positions they are unsuited to.

It was like playing 5 a side with your mates.  Players were just freelancing and doing whatever the f*** they liked.  With little or no success.  I didn't have a clue who was supposed to be playing where at times.

I'm all for a bit of freedom and fluidity (Football Manager™).  But last night was a bit ridiculous.

Not sure what freedom or fluidity you saw from England. The front 3 were pretty much rooted to the spot.

  7. What a scummy little country we are.

Put the cunt in country tbh. It's time people woke up to the mess. Decades of pulling the wool over your own eyes have caused a lot of damage to a society that used to lead the world by example. It's a fucking toilet these days and it's an embarrassment. I grew up in a British school with British values and it isn't anything like this.

  8. I know nothing about him but being from Belgium is good enough for me. We finally get our token Belgian, and the country has produced some quality GK's historically in JM Pfaff, Preud'homme and obviously Courtois more recently.

    Not forgetting Mignolet

 He's nowhere near those on that mini list.

  10. The fact that this oxygen thief is even near contention just goes to show how terrible the state of English football is still in.

A depressed football nation, but give it a couple of weeks and Sky will be wanking over how much PL clubs can spend, whilst the millions of idiot, new-age PC, consumer fan will lap it up and beg for more via Twitter/Instagram/FB etc.

Where the f*** are the productions of Man Utd's Academy? Man City's Academy (richest club in the world)? Chelsea's Academy? Arsenal's Academy? Tottenham's Academy? NEWCASTLE UNITED'S Academy (our record of bringing through young players is especially woeful)? Nowhere to be seen. All that matters now is the next £30m signing, the next commercial move.

It is not about English football anymore, it is about this sterile, corporate monster of a franchise we have created.

Spot on. w*****s like Sterling, Sturridge, Rooney, Lallana, Hart, Rose, all looked like they'd rather be elsewhere than playing in the f***ing european championships! That's because the PL is all that matters and nowt else. These aren't footballers. Football is about competing to win every game you get.

I know I've singled Sturridge out in the past, but I do it to show an example, and not to lay the blame at his door. A player who has done f***-all for two years gets on the pitch and plays ONLY for himself. His flukey winner against Wales papered over his shocking performances where he occupied space of about 8 square metres on the right side and did nothing except his wanky dribbles or wild pot luck shots. This w***** thinks he's Messi and doesn't even bother to move for the team either because he's a lazy c*** or because he's upset at not being played through the middle. In both cases he's an arsehole and so are most of England's players.

If anyone in the FA thinks al f***ing pards will come in and change this attitude, then there's absolutely no hope.
