Alli has got to play in the hole behind Kane and Vardy. It's a no-brainer IMO. You win tournaments by playing the form players and if those 3 keep playing this way, they need to be in there, starting.

I think Villa missed a trick not going down last season or the season before that. It's a club that needs a massive overhaul from top to bottom, and going down may have got Lerner to sell up and fuck off. They could have been on their way back now and into the new PL money next season.

Our striker options are Gestede, Kozak, Ayew and Agbonlahor. Jesus Christ. Gestede is out of his depth, Kozak is still getting over a broken leg, Ayew is not bad but will never be a prolific scorer, and Agbonlahor is a fat c*** everyone wants to see leave ASAP.

 

One thing it has done is absolutely solidify the support for Garde - everyone can see the c***s have pulled the rug from under his feet.

He looks like a dear caught in headlights. Constantly has a "I didn't sign up for this s***" look on his face.

I can't be optimistic as we've not addressed our biggest problems.

Don't think we've been linked specifically but Gary Cahill is said to want out of Chelsea.

Would be a superb signing for us (not that it would happen). I would even forgive them for not getting a striker in if we signed a CB of the calibre of Cahill.
