  1. One of the best rated comments on that:

Alan Pardew is good enough to manage England, anyway they are doling that position out to anyone, so might as well be him, at least he has evolved as a manager, knows the right players, and his teams play attractive football too!!! so, when Roy leaves the job, Pardew, should at least be offered, he' ll definitely do a better job than Pierce!

    f***ing Yanks

Anyone writing drivel like that is either a hired bot, or simply an idiot. That's not even close to an informed opinion anyone can have about al pards.

  2. Liverpool always on top for me. Slightly a little less hate now that bitey racist has fucked off to barca.

Followed by mackems, Chelsea, Spurs, and sometimes Arsenal when they have had some odious cunts in their team (mainly RVP).

  3. Smalling was man of the match again tonight. Quality.

Agree. He was head and shoulders above everything else on the pitch. Depay scored a couple of great goals, but Smalling's leadership provided a calmness to Man U's play that they could retrieve the situation, rather than panic because of the away goal.

  4. I had Walcott, Ozil and Giroud the first week. All 3 are gone and replaced with only Sanchez now. Those lot are too frustrating man.

Even Sanchez, who is a great player by all means, may suffer second season syndrome, be it with form and/or injury. He's played almost continuously, with the world cup and the copa america, so he might just be knackered this season.

  5. I'd not want the likes of Thauvin tracking back and defending because one would hope they'd be too damn busy attacking. Let's not buy any forward threat to keep the opposition penned in their own half. Let's ONLY buy better defenders because that's what football is all about. Afterall, no attacking team has ever won anything. Only great defenders.

  6. CB is one of those positions where you really need to learn it. I'd prefer a lad in his mid to late 20's if he's to come from abroad. Needs to come in and hit the ground running. An experienced player gives us the best chance of that.

Really? I was going to suggest my best friend's son, he's 18 months old and 5ft tall already. Has great determination as shown when he exited from his girl's ass instead.

    wtf?

  7. Feel City are missing a trick with Mangala tbh, needed last season to settle and adapt and this season to kick on.

He's looked good these first two games. Absolutely manhandled Costa a few times yesterday. Can't imagine they'd get rid. Should keep him even if they sign Otamendi. Dimichelis as fourth choice.

Yup. He looked a lot more like the player they hoped they had bought. Playing with a confidence and a focus that he badly lacked last season.

  8. Would this be bye bye Moussa ?

Doubt it, SM has been loving Moussa recently in interviews and phone ins.

We know that counts for little. Can't see Thauvin being brought in as a squad player so, assuming we aren't going 4-4-2, he'll play wide right of a 3 in a 4-2-3-1 and I don't think Moussa would cut it in the two. fwiw I do see Wijnaldum dropping into the two when he's up to speed with the premiership and De Jong is fit.

Could see Sissoko taking the advanced CM spot through the middle and Wijnaldum dropping in with Anita. Thauvin wide right, Aarons wife left when he loses patience with Obertan.

    Could be very effective.

McClaren did mention that he's best in a B2B midfield role, maybe he was just playing him on the right until he got someone he trusted to play there :dontknow:

Still thoroughly p*ssed that it would mean Obertan starting games though

If that is so, then what stops him playing Obertan right and Aarons left? Is Aarons really THAT raw?

Depending on how wide/narrow Thauvin and Aaarons play, that could be very effective indeed. They'll need to mix it up depending on who's up front.

  10. If the club were intent on showing ambition, they'd sign Thauvin and keep Cabella. Unless Cabella himself wants to leave, this stinks of balancing the books again.

Wonder if the injury to Sissoko had a hand in pushing this through so quickly after the weekend.

  11. Have they recently changed their name to Pardew's Palace FC? It's all Peter Drury can bang on about. He's desperate for them to score. Cunt.

Also, how good is it to see that fat useless spoon Woodman on someone else's bench?
