  1. This is Bardsley who's apparently one of their best players?

    Everton, screwed?

Depends if we're talking about pre-January us or post-January us. Although maybe this year will be different?
  3. Canny few goals flying in currently like.
  4. That 30%. We really did dominate it.
  5. Tevez you knob, could've been another assist for Silva.
  6. What do you think of not playing any recognised strikers? Ludicrous. But can't say I'm surprised.
  7. This always happens against Villa. Time and time again we play well against Villa but don't win. All over them early on but haven't scored.
  8. An absolutely out of this world £10 on Man City -1, Arsenal -1, Cardiff.
  9. Double chance when you go for win/draw really reduces the odds drastically. But DNB doesn't reduce them too much. Villa are 3/1 to win, 13/8 DNB which is very reasonable.
  10. I wouldn't. Their defence is still quite susceptible to the odd cross - and I assume Cahill will be promoted back to a more advanced role alongside [banana] Daiquiri? I'd lean towards a 1-0 Everton win. Stracq's apparently not fit. And then there's Anichebe... who's out for 3 months. And then there's Saha who's always injured. Utterly perplexed as to why we let Beckford or Yakubu go.
  11. Really, really want to go balls deep on Villa DNB but really, really shouldn't.
  12. Thing is, none of those teams' odds are overwhelmingly short. Arsenal are 1/3, Chelsea 8/13 and Man Utd 2/5. So Arsenal will probably go to -3, the other 2 -2? Not like we're talking 1/6 as odds for the straight win.
  13. It'll be interesting to see how Man City/Man Utd line up in the league in the next couple of weeks, considering CL is kicking in now. That's my only reservation about the likes of Young and Dzeko. Rooney I'd imagine would play pretty much all games.
  14. Bale and (reluctantly) Dempsey out, Cabaye and Young in. Cue Young starting from the bench.
  15. Yeah, I'm on that as well. Site itself though is working fine as far as I can tell. Get some sleep mate!

    Sunderland...

You have to say, a thumping isn't out of the question here. Only 2 points from 3 games including a home derby defeat, only 1 goal scored, manager under a bit of pressure. Chelsea winning 4-1 or something like that is perfectly feasible. Cue 1-0 Sunderland win.

The more I read hobshobs' post, the more I think it's as though he's tried to write the exact opposite to the truth.

    Everton, screwed?

Very, very sceptical whenever a story about meeting potential buyers comes out. As 1878 rightly says, these are almost always leaked when Kenwright is under pressure (look at the latest story about 3 mystery interested parties, on the eve of a protest - what a coincidence) and the sly timing of these perpetuates the feeling that Kenwright is not being entirely honest. Personally, I don't think he lies when he says he's a passionate Evertonian and hey, he may well be a 'nice guy'. But I also think he is incompetent, going off the tidbits we hear from things like the BU meeting. £24m operating costs, on what? Kenwright: "I don't know, sorry, you'll have to ask someone else". Incredible. That now infamous meeting aside, communication from our hierarchy is non-existent. And the things we do hear reek of total bullshit (sound familiar?) So, who are these buyers? What happened in the previous failed attempts to sell the club? Why did the deals fall through? Fans are waiting for answers to questions like these, but we're going to be waiting a long, long time.

As if to prove the point, guess what? Story released on the eve of a protest: Bill's talking with 3 mystery potential buyers! Woohoo! Like fucking clockwork.
  20. Oh, we'll see about that. ---------------------------------------- Cheers for the info Stu, think I'll look into it more and give it a whirl. I'm more bothered about gaining some sort of profit, giving me more to play with; rather than a very outside chance of a significant profit.
