I actually hope they do tbh.
You don't want to qualify for europe then?
No thanks.
It's a massive distraction and after experiencing champions league football it's a big step down. Would rather we focus solely on getting a champions league spot next season.
You reckon your squad will stay together if you don't get Europe?
The good thing about next week is Chelsea HAVE to win. Well, realistically they do.
I'll hold my hands up and say I thought the title race was all over. I couldn't see Arsenal winning today but they played with a real sense of determination and resolve, something that - frustratingly for their supporters - has been missing at key moments this year. Man Utd are still of course overwhelming favourites but as Jonny says, it's great that games really matter currently. The relegation battle is a real slobberknocker too.
Milan about to nearly confirm the title is theirs. Will be 8 points ahead with 9 to play for.
Sampdoria 2-3 Brescia: if that stays the same, Samp will be 17th, level on points with 18th and Brescia, 19th, will suddenly be 2 points below.
FIFA moment there, the ref standing and watching the ball hit him.
Just asked a Man Utd fan about Vidic - apparently "Van Persie wasn't getting there anyway" and "it evens itself out".
You can hear the nauseating mass media line already:
Well, Man Utd got some luck there but it's OK because Chelsea got some yesterday so it evens itself out.
