Crazy Bari-Roma game. Bari are 2-1 up, then De Rossi gets sent off. Roma make it 2-2, Bari go down to 10, Roma then go down to 9 in the last minute and Roma win it in stoppage time. Not bad.
Same goes for Gervinho and Sow.
Gervinho (or his agent) has linked himself to anyone going IIRC. Although I don't why either himself of Sow would want to leave Lille for someone not in the Champions League next season especially with Lille moving into a 50,000 seater next campaign.
Hence why I'm confused why his name keeps getting mentioned on this forum. Just random players who might have vaguely said once they didn't hate Newcastle?
I actually hope they do tbh.
You don't want to qualify for europe then?
No thanks.
It's a massive distraction and after experiencing champions league football it's a big step down. Would rather we focus solely on getting a champions league spot next season.
You reckon your squad will stay together if you don't get Europe?
The good thing about next week is Chelsea HAVE to win. Well, realistically they do.
I'll hold my hands up and say I thought the title race was all over. I couldn't see Arsenal winning today but they played with a real sense of determination and resolve, something that - frustratingly for their supporters - has been missing at key moments this year. Man Utd are still of course overwhelming favourites but as Jonny says, it's great that games really matter currently. The relegation battle is a real slobberknocker too.
Milan about to nearly confirm the title is theirs. Will be 8 points ahead with 9 to play for.
Sampdoria 2-3 Brescia: if that stays the same, Samp will be 17th, level on points with 18th and Brescia, 19th, will suddenly be 2 points below.
