  1. Fulham-City looks an alright game on paper but I don't know if I can put myself through an hour and a half of getting annoyed at Gareth Barry.
  2. If so, I hope he doesn't get negative points on FF.
  3. Happy in terms of what? Your current standing? While BAE has improved he still is a relative liability IMO, just like Gomes. If you have any aspirations for progressing those two have to be the first two replaced, no?
  4. What a brilliantly and needlessly emphatic finish from Walters for Stoke's 3rd.
  5. They keep seemingly playing pretty well but losing. Alarming.
  6. Because Stifler's intelligent enough to do that. http://imgur.com/DfEhX.jpg
  7. Because Stifler's intelligent enough to do that. No offence Stifler. Actually, quite a bit of offence, really.
  8. Christ man. It was his own abysmal control of the football that caused it.
  9. 1st: yes it was. 2nd: harsh free kick, barely offside. Defending was asking to concede. 4th: Colo wasn't strong enough. Tough.
  10. and he's by no means the first to point it out. I know. Just saying.
  11. Anything Barca can do, Real can... sort of do not quite as well. Finished 5-1, Ronaldo with a hatrick.
  12. Lampard and Alex are expected to be out and Terry is expected to be fit. Essien will be serving the 3rd of his 3 game suspension. I think. Alex played today, so if he dont have his operation this week, i expect both him and Terry to play. I think he delayed his surgery in the hope Terry will return in the next 7 days, which I believe he's expected to do. Hence, Alex will have his surgery this week and he's out for 6-8 weeks if I heard correctly.
  13. Which manager, available and willing to come, would you suggest bringing in?
  14. They are an entire back four & a goalkeeper away from it for a start. Their defence is weak, I agree. What's to say they won't go and improve it drastically with the revenue from the CL? I don't think it's outlandish at all to say they can challenge for the title in the next 2-3 years. I'd argue they're only 3 or 4 players away from it. I know that's significant investment but it's not a million miles away. Also, it's interesting to see Man Utd and Chelsea struggling (in different ways) this season so far. Arsenal and Chelsea to have lost 4 games each by this stage would have been fairly unthinkable at the start of the season. Man Utd are unbeaten, credit to them, but I think they're in a bit of a decline at the moment, by their lofty standards. The entire back four & goalkeeper I think they need is almost half a team. Half of a title winning team costs a lot of money. As I said, I don't think they'll win it in the next 2 or 3 years however they can challenge for it. I don't think they'll need to replace every single man in the back 5 to do that. I also know it'll take significant investment but with the consistently high prices they get for players sold as well as the revenue from the CL, I don't think they'll be short of a few bob.
  15. 1.30pm/2pm next Sunday isn't it? I'd expect it'll be on Sky/ESPN.

  18. It's amusing how much Man City have missed a chance with their pathetic, negative tactics in their last 2 home games. Big game for them tomorrow.
